This is the best Chicago offering yet! Stay lit is an unreal juice bomb

What's this reservation stuff? Did FB suddenly become FFF? Part of the charm is being able to walk in and get a seat easily...

You can make reservations on the Forbidden Root website. I already have a table ready for the NEIPA tap takeover on the 25th

Yeah, I have no idea. If I knew what all the emoticons meant I likely would've used one there. The reservation post followed by the best ever post triggered me.

Each time I have been at FB I was easily able to grab a seat. I wouldn't worry about a reservation unless your going to be eating. Also may not be a bad idea to look into for May 25th.

Plenty of open tables and a couple bar seats open. A little underwhelmed by Nantucket gold, but my palate was abused by some massive stouts earlier.

Didn't try it! Got distracted by impish and ramen jerky.

But as long as I don't drop this growler, it'll be the first thing that hits my lips tomorrow morning.

Hah! I didn't like impish too much. I expected something more along the line of single shot from TH.

Yes you can taste on the backend...this beer is fantastic. Hits the style right on.

I got the FOMA and didn't risk missing out on this at DLD (with my luck it will be on tap all day long). Got an "okay" from the GF who loved Jacob Goes to Juicetown, but I think this is earth shattering for Chicago proper. Sub 7 ABV, I would call this juicy all day! Has the tropical fruit flavor, non-IIPA abv I want, perfect mouthfeel where it is pillowy, but just enough carb to prevent it from being watery. I give it extremely high marks and it holds the current NEIPA crown for Chicago city limits for me (and mad props to both Forbidden Root and Corridor &Provisions for filling the NEIPA niche that we've been watching kill it in the burbs while hoping our locals stepped to the plate. You guys Kris Bryant'd it!). Nothing jumps out at me that says "wood" added, but the lactose provides enough sweetness to make this juicy without being bready from malts. If you missed out on DLD tickets just go take home $180 work of Get Lit growlers and don't look back. I think this collab was probably 99% FB as there isn't a anything discernably FFF about it and they were along just to gain the knowldegebase.

This is the local NEIPA I've been waiting for. Perfect.

Corridor will be right there once they put one out with tropical hops.

Stay Lit by forbidden root and 3 Floyds.

I have 64oz waiting in a growler for any DLDers outside the gates.

Lol. Sorry, the people above were talking about "Get Lit", looking back I wasn't clear that is what I was referring to.

Any idea how much Lit there is? Hoping to make the trek in from Riverside after I get the kiddos down to bed this evening.
