    Cruz Blanca's stout from their anniversary party was on par with Shaun's SideNote beers. Just excellent

    Sounds like you got a good bottle, but me and my friends did not get ones that were even close. That is, Paradise was drinkable - it was okay. But nowhere near worth $10 for a 12oz bottle - maybe $3-$4.

    I really liked it, but at the price I drank one and I wouldn't get it again.

    Guess this thread falling to page 2 of Great Lakes is the sign that Stout Season is officially over -my wallet (read wife) appreciates it!

    lumberjack breakfast is still prob my fav beer of their's. huge chance i'm taking the metra out and blacking out by 5pm next saturday.
