Just noticed raining 3's doesn't have the canned on date. Any particular reason why?

 

Maybe one batch of the double batch was canned a day prior (all speculation). Beer geeks who lined up at 5am would have shit fit that one of their 4-packs wasn't as fresh as the others.

 

I mean they'd have a point. Everyone knows that raining 3's pretty much falls off a cliff on day 2

 

The dating laser was not operational. The entire double batch was canned on Friday 5/12.

I enjoy watching BA make it onto Facebook trade forums then get trashed by people that have more than likely never been on the site.

 

From the weekly keg email:

Superfun!: 4.2% Session pale ale w / el dorado, galaxy + simcoe.

DDH Daydream in Green: 8.0% Double dry hopped Imperial Oat IPA hopped with Wai-Iti, Motueka, Citra.

Magic Green Nuggets: 9.3% Imperial IPA w/ 100% Segal Ranch high oil cascade. *Segal were the first to grow Cascade hops.

Double Mosaic Dream: 8.5% Imperial single hop mosaic IPA.

Riwaka IPA: 7% Single hopped Riwaka IPA.

Don't think that Riwaka will make its way into cans but I'm really hoping so. Love the single hop series.

 

God, I'd kill for more single hops as the summer kicks up. If it's all DDH DIPA everything I honestly don't see myself at OH as often this summer as my palate turns towards sessions, sours, etc.

Thinking further along those lines, are we gonna see Mosaic Is Pres in cans? I don't dig Brett but I thought this beer was fantastic.

 

I doubt they'd can anything with brett, that's why Table Beer was bottled. Would be happy with bottles though (even though BA will tell me they're overpriced again)

 

As soon as I posted, I realized this probably wasn't a cannable beer. I'd buy bottles, though!

 

looks to be a chill release. no real bangers (in terms of hording/trading) outside DDH Daydream and DMD.

having said that...it will still sell out unless theres double batches or if Superfun! is a regular batch size.

 

anyway i'll be running the brooklyn half so have fun peeps.

 

Yeah I'll definitely be sitting this one out. Wasn't thrilled on the original Daydream in Green and I have entirely too much beer as is. It's whittlin' season.

I think they have in the past. something like only 80-100 cases. subterranean rotation maybe? and a collab with an english brewer that was more a session ipa. can't remember

 

I don't follow beer on Facebook so thanks for sharing this. I didn't mean for this photo to make its rounds online but I don't understand the animosity of comments on Facebook. The internet is big enough to have multiple active beer forums.
