Don't go by mileage in Miami. It is not easy to drive anywhere in this city, at any time, unless it is Sunday morning at 6am. Ugh. God speed to you.

 

Driving down from Tallahassee. What kind of limits and prices should we be expecting? Will any of these beers be on tap or will it be bottles only? Will any beers be on tap?

I cannot speak as to limits. For that, we will just have to monitor social media. In terms of prices, I would say $20 or $25 based on past experience. If it was a barrel aged stout, we might see $30 but I don't think any of those beers are BA.

I cannot recall the last time, JWB had a bottle release where the beer(s) being released were not available on draft at the same time. So if you get shut out of bottles, at least you can sip some of the beer on tap.

 

Sounds like they're tapping kegs of Big Poppa tomorrow. Hope they hold some back for bottle release. That's best part of releases they have, so I can get my fix while where and don't have to rush to pop my bottles lol

 

Sweet. Looking forward to my first trip to the brewery and Miami. Planning to be in line quiet early around 6am. Is drinking in line frowned upon? Should I bring bottles to share?

 

Best bottle shares I've ever been to lol. Almost feels like a pissing contest

Just don't leave your empty bottles on the sidewalk, or setup chairs blocking the driveway of other local businesses (e.g. Gramps next door).

If there is anything that gets drinking in the line frowned upon (as in the police actually having to step in and discourage against it), it will be the assholes who can't walk 50 yards to the trash bins in front of the brewery and instead leave their bottles on the ground.

Like everyone has mentioned.... Great shares. But clean up after you are done.
If you are near the front.. Most line up bottles on a bench for graveyard picture

Hey everyone, coming in from Philly and planning on being at this next release. Bottle shares in line sound great, but it's a huge no-no in Pennsylvania..

 

Also, for anyone that goes over to Panther Coffee to piss multiple times... buy something and leave a nice tip. I'm sure by 10, they're sick of all the drunks wandering in to use the bathroom

 

And their coffee's awesome. buy it

 

The law of the white man does not apply in Miami and especially in Wynwood. Like others have mentioned, just keep your area clean and tidy and you should have no issues. If you get there really, really early (camping out basically) and can get one of the font spots where you are actually waiting in the small JWB parking area with the picnic tables, that is a shit show bottle share. Johnny Wakefield himself been known to hand out bottles and pour beer for those in that area.

Does he ever put the upcoming releases on tap the day or to before the actual release? Was hoping to sample them to determine if I want to stand in line for 5 hours the next day
