I think I am missing what was so bad about it as well.

 

Kind of a waste of 1:30 as it doesn't give any insight into brewing, Hop Butcher, or anything else. I can see how it would be taken as pretentious as when I asked myself what the message was, it was basically one guy saying "I get to drink fresh beer because I'm a brewer."

This is a great thread. I get to go to Chicago for work every quarter and it's great to see the NE style really taking off there.

I'll be in town in June for a Dave Matthews concert (wife's request) and was curious what the most accessible hazy 16oz cans or 22 oz bottles there are that I can bring back to SF (ie, ones I don't have to drink within a week lol).

In April I just stopped by Bitter Pops and Binny's, but they didn't have much other than Cumulus (really like it) and JP4 (ok).

I went and got fills/crowlers of the Hazy stuff at Corridor (Squeeze It was really good) and Forbidden Root (Death by Snu Snu was really good and Snooze Juice was good). I'm obviously willing to get crowlers, but having the wife with me makes it tough to go on a brewery crawl to get crowlers lol

A one (or two) stop endeavor while the wife is shopping would be perfect :-)

(Oh and if anyone is down for some local 4 local Hops trades hit me up, pretty consistent 16oz can releases happening in the Bay to go along with Crowlers)

 

I forgot to post this side-by-side I did with Memes and Dreams/Really Dank Meme a few weekends ago.

Really Dank Meme was the clear favorite for me, not to take anything away from Memes and Dreams, they were both excellent.

The Really Dank Meme was brought up from my brother and had about 3 weeks on it - I'm curious as to what people thought of a fresh (I would assume?) keg of it at Paul Pauper Day.

 

How many additional ways do you think he can describe fresh beer and how he gets to drink it?

 

Where you seeing it is Friday 5/26? Everything I have seen from them says Thursday 5/25?

 

shoot that must be the day, stopped by there yesterday, thought they would release on a friday

 

They've done all of their Gummy releases on Thursdays, so I would assume this one is no different. I'm really looking forward to this one, I may take an early lunch to get there when they open to avoid a possible shit show.
