IPA from Barrier, 7% abv, 5/1 canning...

    Speaking of "Kapow!"...

Remember Mike Tyson in his glory days, from like, the mid-80's to 90's?

Man, he was a beast. Seems like shit went south after he lost to Buster Douglas... within a few years he was all ****, prison, and (after reclaiming his titles) ear-biting from there on out... One of the scariest fighters of all time...

Speaking of people who went downhill... was watching Friends, "The One With the Chicken Pox" guest-starring Charlie Sheen... man, was he funny - from Hot Shots one and Deux to Two and a Half Men - cracked me up - man, did he go down the proverbial shitter...

Wanna feel shittier than Charlie Sheen? Here's what the top 25 NFL contracts will pay out this year. Read 'em and weep... :flushed: Kirk Cousin's gonna make $23 million dollars this year - what's in your wallet, America?

Any time someone drinks beer and listens to Slayer, the world is a touch better.

Scythe is my favorite beer brewed in NC, you can't beat the creamy
Mouthfeel. Surf Wax is a great beer as well. Needs to be in 16 oz cans.

It is pretty good. A lot better than the first one. I could drink a few of them in this warm weather.

A recent study was done that determined engineering issues may be resolved by drinking good beers and listening to Enthrone Darkness Triumphant from start to finish.

I remember leaving work in plenty of time to catch a fight, only to find out upon arrival that Mike had already won seconds into the first round. That happened at least twice. Luckily it didn't cost me anything. There were several complaints to pay-per-view companies and bars about 'getting ripped off' after people paid tens of dollars to watch the fights.

What is up. I'm working through my case of SNPA. It's Syttende Mai. Norwegian constitution day. For those unfamiliar, think Cinco de Mayo with Scandanavians. Jubol everybody! I think that's how you spell it. Cheers!

Good evening, all! I stopped at HyVee on my way home this afternoon and asked the W&S guy if they had anything new. Turns out they did: Founders Doom, an IIPA aged in bourbon barrels. This one is about two weeks old. Now, I'll grant that this is probably not going to appeal to everyone's taste. There is a ton of bourbon on the nose and palate, and the alcohol (12.4%) is very prominent. But there is a lot of subtle hop character here. Nice bitterness, not much sweetness, not too tannic, and a clean finish with just a hint of resin on the tongue. Absolutely delicious, and much too easily drinkable for its size. I'm glad I picked up a single, because I'd be tempted to go for another if I had one. And that would spell... well, you know.
