I would think on Memorial Day weekend there's a possibility of Heady selling out but very unlikely that Focal does. I don't think Focal has sold out except for the first week or so (but could be wrong).

Thanks! I'll just go in the morning to be on the safe side.

Out of curiosity...what the hell went wrong with the parking lot? Started cratering early winter and just got worse until now. Good heavens...

That feels like bragging a little bit ;-))

I would 100% need a designated driver. The trouble would be where to start so as not to completely scorch your palate early in the process. I've not quite concluded yet whether sours are a palate cleanser between other beers or a palate wrecker.

Totally agree! I was up there on Sat and my S3 almost lost a muffler a couple of times and I was driving really slow. There was a 911 turbo in the lot and I have no idea how he made it in and out without seriously bottoming out.

Well, with the multiple thaws this winter we have had 4-5 iterations of mud season this year. Some of our town roads still have catastrophe areas. The parking lot didn't seem that bad to me a couple weeks ago but then I live 5 miles from the nearest pavement.

Drinking a Broken Spoke that my wife picked up today and it is just as John described on YouTube, wonderful stuff.

    Sounds bitter.

But the DB sticks over the Wicked Weed shirt are interesting and purposeful.

It seems like they have really been hitting their stride the past month and a half or so. You can consistently walk in now and pick up 5-6 offerings.

I was there on opening day and the lot already was already getting potholes . Sure this spring hasn't helped

Lot has been fixed. Nice and smooth yesterday. I'm assuming they waited until mud season passed.

Thanks for the info! Most of this was still available a bit afterwards and I enjoyed an amazing and fresh Broken Spoke. Three Penny is so awesome.

Hi All- Heading to the brewery the Tuesday after Memorial Day (30th) - will there be a chance they won't have any Heady if I get there right when they open? Not sure how the allocations work. Thanks!

you will be fine the Tuesday after Memorial Day. they are closed Sunday and Monday and hold back allocations to ensure they open with at least some of everything they are currently offering

Anyone have a sense of how long this run of Beelzebub is going to be around? The initial publicity for the new brewery had it listed as a regular along with Focal, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

I was up there last week and asked the same question. they said it should be around for at least a month, if not more. they just canned some more of it.

Friend sent me a case of fresh Alchemist beer last week. On my 2nd 4pack of Focal Banger. Cans from both 4 packs have looked like this....

Tastes great but I found it odd.

Dozens of cases of Heady and several cases of Focal and others consumed but I've never seen this before from the Alchemist. Some settling of Heady after several months in the fridge but nothing to this extent.

Floaties-wise, I've seen can to can variation within the same 4 pack. Variance but I don't get excited about it either way personally
