Yeah, when I was exchanging bottles yesterday, I asked what the chances would be for a JtR public sale, and they said "unlikely." I guess the number of exchanges exceeded their expectations.

I mean, nobody actually drinks limited beer these days right?, so I'm sure most actually got returned.

Always a good chuckle when I see IG comments that are offering up Trillium and Treehouse for something like Fundamental Summation. It's like one of those sports trades where one team gets a superstar and the other team gets back a bunch of role players.

I've been wondering about this part with Bottle Logic releases. I often see people post on IG with a huge number of BL bottles after a release (way more than one allocation - sometimes 3 or 4 times a single allocation). I saw that some people even got several bottles of FF, which struck me as odd given the lottery system for that one.

Since no proxies are allowed and given the CC / driver's license restrictions that BL uses for its releases, this would seem to make it difficult for muling to occur. Somewhat disappointing that people still find a loophole in order to hoard - not entirely sure how they do it ...

Seriously. A barrel-aged imperial stout for some hazy IPAs that are brewed every week. That's like trading a 1st edition Charizard for that Machamp card that came with every pre-made deck.

Some people ask close friends, some people take pictures with their friends' bottles.

I see that they are slowly increasing their prices every release.

    $27.31 for 16.9oz is rough.

They should do a beer with Starbucks. Might save a few bucks on ingredients if that's gonna be a problem for consumers

    Howdy Beer Amigos,

Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is some of the rarest (and therefore most costly) coffee in the world. While we're psyched to make beer with some of Earth's most premium ingredients, we are supremely conscious of the delicate balance between consumer price points and viable business.

Looking forward, we hope you'll delight in our maintenance of Fundamental Observation's $22.95 price point this summer -- even with a 50+% cost increase in those sweet, sweet 'nilla beans, we've made no changes to the recipe.

Hope to see y'all at the OC Guild Fest this weekend!
