Thought the same thing, although I was pretty sick about a month prior to the fest, think I caught everything that was going around beforehand.

I'm working on some Huna and I also have Abraxas and that Malevolence Caliente. Set up a share and I'm there

Dia Oscuro on tap at DLD? Don't recall ever hearing this....

Band info by year and much much more. The Yongle Encyclopedia isn't this thorough.

Thanks! Great info. So the guest taps and FFF taps you have to pay for? I guess I was a little naive to believe $200 ticket would cover your beer samples. Haha

A couple of us are talking about doing a DLD variant share. Would be cool to have a small group with some decent beers. Could also add a Sump to the mix and a couple others.

Well, only the 2016 ticket price was $200. It did include $40 in vouchers for beer and food. This year's ticket price of $180 did not include any vouchers and beer/food was additional.

I've actually been sitting on a Sump and Sump Variant because I didn't want to dome them myself

I'm pretty certain it didn't go on tap. I saw the .5 star check ins on Untappd and I think they are fake.

That's what I'm thinking. There's a reason I don't use or frequent untappd too often.

It was fake....I was just there and all they had on was DL 17 and it kicked around 5pm. They replaced it with wigsplitter.

While I did not witness it myself, I'm fairly certain there were a couple variants on tap, not just DL 17. I did hear a decent amount of people were able to try ChemTrailMix. Though I do still feel the Dia Oscuro are probably fake.

I was mainly responding to the Dia being on tap. I probably should have worded it a little better initially. The DL 17 they had on tap earlier did kick and I found wigsplitter an odd replacement. I am wondering if their special rotating tap is done for a bit....

They definitely are not beer samples, but full pours on non-barrel aged beers, and to the brim 8 ouncers (or more) for the barrel aged ones.

Not that it matters (but you don't get over 200 pages just with stuff that does), but the tap boards said the higher end beers were 9oz pours. I did find they were frequently a bit short, so 8 oz is probably close to what I actually got most of the time.

I can confirm that Ronaldo and Chemtrail were tapped at the station in the holding area. $10 bucks a pour.

The weather at Darklord Day was incredible. I don't think I spent more than 10 dollars on the taps (Zombie v Unicorn and BA Alpha Kong) I tried more beers this year than I have probably in the last few total. The weather definitely brought everyone's spirits up. Then I died at 2pm. I'm guessing a mixture of the heat and stouts will do that to a poor soul.
