    It's not bad. Fruity, sweet and bitter. Great mouthfeel. It's below SqueezIt and Salute for me. Really reminds me of a cross between Crimson Snapper and Spotter Puffer.

    Well, I know we're being liberal with Chicagoland sometimes by including Transient, but I think Short's is well past Chicagoland's borders. Check the MI NEIPA and/or Short's threads.

    I want to drive up for the OB release, but at a one 4 pack limit and limited amount of that awesome glass (I wouldn't get there until later), the 3+ hour round trip cannot be justified...even after a few beers. :slight_frown:

    Agreed. I'm hoping enough is left over that I find a 4-pack next week, but who knows.

    Also, finally got a 4 pack of Unwind, and I think it's HB's best in recent memory. Might be a little sweet for some, but it's definitely one of their better NE beers, despite not having the moniker.

    Completely agree. No bitterness, lingering sweetness. But not caramel sweetness

    Certainly the best NEIPA beer they've put out since GB b1

    Agreed it's not bad. Was below expectations though unfortunately. I think there was too much going on. Hoping it needs a few days to settle down.

    On another note, I had galaxy bowl last night and it tastes as good as the first batch. Found myself going back for a few pours.

    Damn I'm gonna have to shoot up there after work. That glassware its pretty sweet looking. Wasn't nuts about the last batch, good not great. That Belgiany yeast flavor was just enough to turn me off a bit. It'll be nice to try it on tap before committing to a 4 pack.

    They recently release Slurm state only NEIPA as well, hoping magic eyes hit out here in IL

    Just called Binnys in Lakeview. (Clark/halsted). They have meme and really dank meme. Is the latter worth a 45 drive into the city to grab? Debating....

    While you're here, drive around to FR and Corridor and pick up whatever NE stuff they've got on tap. :grinning:

    I'd tell you to pick up Unwind your Mind, but I would imagine it's long gone, even at most of the Whole Foods that got it yesterday.

    I was a huge fan of the Really Dank Meme my brother brought up from Champaign last weekend, and those cans had a little over 3 weeks on them. I can only imagine this batch being canned 8 days ago would be phenomenal.
