Was at Ale Jail earlier today, plenty of Cooper and Doom available.

 

Both are Bad Whiskey brews.Just IMO

Shorewood Liquor has Modist, Founders Doom, plenty of Blissful Ignorance (we ramped up the order), more Pekan, and both new Hammerheart (Hokans and Dublin Raid Reserve). Sale on 3+ bombers @ 10% off, and 15% off 6+.

Also, a new Private Barrel Of Buffalo Trace that is incredible (For the bourbon drinkers).

 

Apparently one of the distributors decided to clear out a bunch of Unibroue 750's for way below original cost, as I have seen them now at a couple locations this week. EP Liquor had La Resolution and 17 Grand Reserve for $4.99 a bottle. I also saw it for $6.99 at Top Ten.

They may have been collecting dust at $12-$15 a bottle, but at $4.99-$6.99 that is a pretty awesome price on legit BSDAs in large format bottles.

 

Out next week , one of my favorite Citra PA, Now in Cans.

 

They have this at zipps already! I was seeking it out yesterday. Delicious stuff!

 

It's got simcoe in it as well this year. Don't remember if it did last year, but didn't think it tasted the same when I had it at the taproom last night.

 

Agree saw that listed on the can dont recall if simcoe was in this.. They still call it a Citra Pale listed on can . Last time i had it was 2 years ago from the bomber, thought the taste was different also.

 

Here lies my biggest problem with Fair State (which by the way I think is a really good brewery) they bottled this a while back and knocked it out of the park and instead of brewing the same beer again they fucked with the recipe (I understand this may be due to availability of ingredients or an attempt on improvement). They brew so many good to outstanding beers that are never seen again, I just wish they focused more on the beers that they've nailed instead of brewing 3 new beers every couple weeks it's really hard to keep up, I'm sure they have good reason for this and maybe things will change with the new facility. Sorry for the rant just was really looking forward to seeing Pahlay'Ahlay return in all its glory........

 

Ska Brewing started showing up in Twin Cities liquor stores today if you are in to that.

 

MGM Eagan just got Birthday Bomb. I'm guessing it will be everywhere by the end of this week.

Any Vanilla Noir around or is it long gone?

 

Long gone, unfortunately. That beer was so incredible, but damn near impossible to find outside of a couple 1-hour windows in the northern suburbs. I really wanted to try the coffee or original Noir as well, but it was the same deal.

 

Zipp's got 12-packs of Xtra Citra and #Merica. The price is $12.99.

...and so began the Minnesota beer price war

 

So if my math is correct that would be priced $.09/oz or about $5.75 for a 4 pack of tall boys. At $6.99 a four pack, it is about a 18% price discount.
If Furious has a similar price structure when it comes out in late July ( and you use $8.99 as a average 4 pack price) then the 12 pack of 12 oz cans will be about $16.50. If $7.99 is used as a 4 pack base price, then $14.75 will be a Furious 12 pack price.

Case one pricing on X-tra & #'merica 12 pack cans is $24.50. With a dollar off/ case @ 10 cases. Just came in to G-will B.P for $13.99. The math seems sound
