Yea. It's flawless. If mosaic is your thing... go

Yes I concur. Great meeting Tim, and I definitely encourage all who can to stop by links taproom. If Friday night was any indication, the rest of their craft beer week tappings should be rather stellar. The fact its not far from Forbidden root and Goose Island is a major plus.

Yes it's worth trying, ton of mosaic. I did like the beer, but it was honestly hard to drink a bomber by myself, it's very sweet. 9-10oz pour would be perfect.

Someone I follow on Instagram asked Hop Butcher about no longer labeling his beers "NE Style." His response was, "We found the moniker distracting from what matters most: flavor and armoa."

Interesting response. Sounds like a PR statement. Either way I'm glad he stopped labeling that style.

Respectfully disagree in being flawless. Way too sweet and the triple dry hop was probably too much. Mic check still holds the crown.

And a $15+ price tag :astonished: no thanks

Honest question, would you prefer people to give honest feedback or not? It's not like I said, "oh my god the beer was terrible nobody buy it!!!"

Oh man, I thought it was the perfect balance.

I'm not sure if the Triple Dry Hop is worth it, but I thought this was one of the most balance delicious beers I've had from him

@3xAnthony dang, Dank Meme is great. Are there any plans for this to see distro in Chicago more often? Thanks!

I thought your feedback was pretty on point, and to be honest, figured more of the opinions would be along this line as I know you guys are flush with top rate stuff right now (as I begin to worry about my readily available supply of DM and RDM...) Me thinks that maybe this was a play on the name of the beer (i.e. meme) as opposed to a slight at you. I mean, it was a pretty dank meme. Might have one tonight come to think of it...the beer that is.

I liked the triptych beers 5x better than mikerphone or hop butcher. No weird after taste. I could crush the pale ale all summer, juicy but easy drinking.

I love the Triptych stuff and hope they start distributing here. But I think once we get Mike's stuff in cans it'll really change the game. It's just not as good of a drinking experience as it should be since you have to deal with a whole bomber at once.

They're drier, right? That tends to be my preference, too. I really like HB and Miker's stuff, but in general less sweet is my thing. Looking forward to trying the Triptych stuff.

Yea, I think so, I'm teriible at describing taste. I pretty much gave up on mikerphone, super juicy but weird taste at the end. When it comes to ipas, pipeworks, alchemist, most of half acre (beer hates astronaut is 1 of my favorite ipas), and Maine are my go-tos.

Based on what you like, yeah, I can see that. Half Acre does a lot of stuff on the drier side (even Navaja is pretty dry, especially for a beer at that ABV), and the stuff I've had from the Alchemist has been, too. BHA is an all-time fave of mine, as well.

I got a 4-pack of regular Dank Meme and that's my assessment as well. I really enjoyed it. If it was available regularly here I'd probably make it a go-to summer beer.
