It can't really be a shake/OV release in the middle of the week, could it?

I dunno... Up until recently, it was a shake maybe once a month if not longer, right? Not so much the case recently. With the Memorial Day holiday upcoming, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a trio. Double Vanilla, OV, and HopHands. Sending us all of to our respective BBQs with all kinds of goodies.

i feel like the shake/ov is going to be an anniversary thing. dont ask me why, but i have a feeling they are taking the high road this week.

I was under the impression it would be a shake/void mix (not two different beers). Don't some of the Void variations also have Madagascar vanilla beans?

They have done posts in the past with the two labeled intermingled just meaning they were releasing both congruently. I would say either releasing both cans or it's a specialty pour at an anniversary event merging the two.

Wouldn't it be great if they weren't so vague, and just provided upfront information... Hell, even a "Hey folks, we are sold out of cans" when they sell out would be nice. #dreambusinesstactics

It would come from the Dudley's General Store gems of course!

    So, anyway...

They posted new artwork that looks vaguely similar to the pilsner and OV artwork with a "Let's explore New Horizons together" caption. Hmmm.

Cracked my last "Refreshing" can a few nights ago...insane huge phlegmy floaters in it now. Which is weird because I thought that only happened to the milkshakes because of all the weird adjuncts in them.

Tasted was okay, def fell off. A little over two weeks old...

I had one on Friday and noticed some floaters too. Nothing like the double Peach shake, but it also surprised me.

I thought it tasted just as good, if not a bit better than fresh, however.

Strange. I cracked one a couple days ago and didn't notice anything floating and it was still drinking great. Refreshing is probably my favorite of the recent releases. The milkshakes haven't been wowing me.

Double raspberry is a different beast after a week. Not nearly as hot and probably my favorite shake in awhile. Anyone crack one in the last day or two?

Is that hot as in too high an alcohol thing?

    Cheers!

Yup. The alcohol really came through when I opened it on release day. Tonight it tastes smoother with less bite. Maybe just my mindset though.

I have a 4-pack of this beer in my refrigerator but I have not 'cracked' any of the cans yet. I suppose I will give them more 'conditioning' time based upon your post. Thanks for your input here.

    Cheers!

Wild stab in the dark - that will be for pouring beer for people to drink while perusing the merchandise, a la Local 44's bottle shop.
