Guessing that since Transient is a guest draft at Pale Pauper day Chris will be in town, which would mean a trip to the Beer Temple to drop off the member bottles just in time for CCBW. #fingerscrossed

 

IL Member first release email went out last night for pickups starting this Sunday. Beers are:

• Ardent Premiere - Oak Fermented saison. Noted that out of the 16 puncheons this was the best barrel produced & is packaged on it's own (unblended single barrel)
• Sweet & Sour Cherry Ardent - Oak fermented & aged saison aged on sour & sweet cherries
• Agnitio (Transient) - Oak fermented saison aged with our unique blend of Brett strains
• Agnitio (Hailstorm) - Split batch oak fermented & aged using Hailstorm's own blend of Brett

 

Any updates on Kentuckley release?

 

Are you a MI or IL member?

If MI then I wouldn't expect it until the beginning of next week. It seems like once the email hits you have a couple of days to reserve bottles & then they are for sale that next weekend. With next Saturday being the party I expect the email Mon or Tue next week with leftovers being available at the party

 

What're the details of the party--is it ticketed or open to anyone? TIA.

IL member, not MI but if it's like the IL parties it's reserve society members +1 only and your name is checked off the members list at the door.

 

Anyone crack into their allotments yet? Premier was solid but I was dissappointed in the cherry one. Havent had either saison yet.

 

Curious to get the Buckley/Kentuckley email

 

If anyone has info about a non-member, public release that would be much appreciated. IIRC Kentuckley was sold at the Beer Temple in the past--has it ever otherwise been released to the public?

 

Buckley/Kentuckley/Bark Lord will all be released this Saturday the 27th at the brewery in Bridgman (and only there). Along with that we will have a tap takeover of mostly Buckley variants. Members will soon receive a link to reserve bottles but the pickup period will be short. We have been in Norway for a fest with limited computer access, but it will all be sorted soon.

 

Thanks & it was an nice treat to see the Buckley/Kentuckley/Bark Lord package option for the IL members. I was at Beer Temple yesterday picking up my allotment & it was great to see some vintage bottle options available too, so thank you!

 

I know this can be an incendiary subject, especially in this thread, but what was the price on Kentuckley and Bark Lord?

 

Saturday should be a fun day! I'll be there for sure.

 

Looks like I'll be making an early drive up there in vain hope. I love Kentuckley
