Transient Reserve Society

Buckley & Bark Lord are $17, Kentuckley is $27. I think the first batch through the Chicago membership was the same price for Kentuckley.

 

I've been wanting to get my hands on Kentuckley, this may be worth the drive. Do you need to get there early to secure bottles?

 

I was wondering the same. Is it for Society members only or will it be open to the public?

 

Society members can reserve bottles, otherwise it's open to public. I would guess the same limits apply.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm taking a wait and see on bark lord. The first bottling of it was not very good. It ruined the base Buckley.

 

I'm unfortunately not a member, however I'll still be heading up on Saturday. If any Chicago-based members are in need of a proxy, feel free to send me a message.

 

Another question that may have been answered, but what time do they open on Saturday?

 

no, they always take an inventory of the line and set allottments based on that. There has never been a time where people in line got shut out for cans, bad hombre, or any other release there.

 

12pm, but seriously, between facebook and their website, how could you not just look that up?

 

I had it on tap last summer and it was great, very excited to have it again

 

How many bottles of Kentuckley do members get to reserve? Just trying to ball park what limits general public may see. I know it is line dependent but trying to guesstimate if it may be one or two bottles and if the trip is worth it.

2 Kentuckley
1 Bark Lord

 

Sorry Colonel Hopslam, didn't mean to offend you. Since I don't have Facebook, I normally can't see much on pages for breweries/bars. I had checked their website and saw the 12 PM opening but wasn't sure if it were different for bottle releases.

I will be sure that my research is more thorough the next time I think about asking a question.

anyone know or have confirmation on the bottle size? I'm assuming 22oz, but Transient bottles in 750ml & (gulp) 500ml too.
