    With a 120 Cubs game on I didn't know if it would have a busier crowd... not just for the hops...

    I feel like tonight's event at Forbidden Root is going to be so packed. But we'll worth it. Cannot wait for it and hope they make this an annual event.

    Thanks for the recommendation! I just stopped by Horse Thief for a growler and taster of Parallel Universe. Wow! Really great stuff. This one can hang with the big boys. I'm going to enjoy finishing the growler.

    It seems that Parallel Universe may have gotten overshadowed by all of the other recent releases, but it's definitely worth trying. As you mentioned, the South Side location may not be ideal for a lot of BA members, but I live about 15-20 minutes away so it was a no brainer for me.

    Yea, I'm happy they are cranking out some great NE IPAs. Living on the South side, there's not enough selection.

    I'm sure most places are not getting much. Heard its a small batch and most was probably sold at Open Bottle.

    There wasn't much at the open bottle release. Sold out in about 30 minutes. I'd guess 6-8 cases.

    stopped at beer cellar, they were out of HP watch for fallen coconuts but had Galaxy bowl for sale, only say a couple handfuls of four packs FYI

    and that went fast damn
