Chicagoland NE IPAs (2018)

Fair enough. Hopefully Corridor Brewery and Provisions, Mikerphone, Noon Whistle and soon More Brewing shoot you some samples of the nifty NEIPAs this area has going on in addition to the yummy stuff coming out of Forbidden Root.

 

Just had Lit Up for the first time today at the open bottle. Fantastic brew. Haven't had any TH, Trillium or Alchemist since last fall so tough going off memory. It's on point with some of the big boys. Just my opinion. The DDH Congress Street I had at DLD doesn't count cause my palate was wrecked.

Early indications point to it being fucking rad. It will be released on Wednesday. Detailed info and tasting notes coming Tuesday. I still need to taste it post-crash)

I know we were working with Caviar and now maybe Grubhub. I heard they deliver growlers.

You can definitely get growlers to-go though if you come in.

 

Metal Monkey is releasing their first NE IPA tomorrow. Wish I had time to get out there and try it.

Van Hazen from Corridor is a winner for me. A great balance between juicy, dry & creamy with an incredibly pleasant mouthfeel. I'll be grabbing another crowler this week...

Had Snoochie on Saturday, this beer has come a LONG WAY since I last had it. Really, really good. If I wasn't taking ubers everywhere I would have taken a growler or 2 to go. Great job on that beer.
