YES!!! This is my go to local brewery and actually one of my favorite in the state. I think their new Hop Utilization is awesome as well. Although, I am assuming "off the meat rack" is a good thing...

They just reopened in their new facility a couple months ago and went from 10 taps to 20 so they still have almost 12-14 more taps to fill. They have already made a ton of great IPA's in their first 3 years so I am excited! Plus they are just all around great guys.

Went to odd 13 uber noob release. Once again I have found all the noob versions to be less than desirable. Just my opinion. I still don't know what it is about the noob that I find not very good.

The DDH superfan I found spectacular I liked this one a lot. Think it's blew the regular superfan away and I like the regular a lot also..

I'm glad someone else said this. Odd 13 is my favorite brewery in Colorado and I've been to every tap room release, and this is the first time I've walked away without getting any cans. The best way I can describe ubernoob is that it was way too vegetal tasting for me. I had.the hallertau codename and eric's ex-wife while I was there today and they were phenomenal. Can't wait for regular ddh codename, superduperfan, holidayfan, robot librarian, hoperella, papa silenus, etc. to come back.

I thought ubernoob was great, but if you don't love regular noob you probably won't like it. Its everything good about noob amplified. A little pricey though, relatively speaking.

Yeah- fun taproom, beers ranging from solid to excellent... considerably better than butcherknife IMO
Grabbed a crowler of the Chowder along with Paddy's Porter to bring back to Fort Collins

Staff was great too... even after I shattered a door on their free popcorn machine!

I'm with you. Superfan has been my favorite of their ipas, noob and the others have been good, but superfan hits all the right notes for me.

I know I'm the Resident odd 13 Fanboy, but I'm loving Ubern00b. Delicous. Mosaic is my favorite hop though. Been drinking that and Galaxy Ft Point and liking the ubern00b more!

Anyone know what Eric's Ex Wife is?

Thanks Tyler. Eric's Ex Wife is a spin off of our original Eric the Red recipe. Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic. The joke is that she divorced Eric and kept the good hops. It's full NE style pale (as opposed to Eric which is west coast red). We don't brew Eric all that often any more. We kind alternate the two. They don't like being in the same place at the same time. Makes for awkward conversations.

Disclaimer: the real person after whom Eric the Red is named is not divorced.

Hey BA's - I'm planning on visiting the Denver area for the 1st time in July. I'm a huge hops fan (hops/haze/... all IPA's)... what are the essential spots I should short list for Denver area's best hops? Cheers!

While you guys are answering traveling questions (which I bet is your favorite)....my wife and I are staying in Fort Collins and Boulder next month. Do any of the Denver breweries listed distribute outside the city?

We'd also welcome any suggestions on NEIPA's available around Fort Collins or Boulder (outside of WW and Odd13, which we're already planning on). I plan to start watching your thread this month to get a handle on things, but I'd appreciate any input! Thanks.

You can find Odd 13 can in Ft. Collins. I'm not 100% sure, but probably S26 cans as well. You'll definitely find them both in Boulder. You might see some taps from Comrade, CC, and Cerebral as well. Not 100% sure where (Backcountry and the Mayor of Old Town maybe?), but it's at least a possibility.

For NEIPA's, I'd also suggest New Image. Dry Dock's IPA has a bit of that flavor profile but without the same kind of haze. Ursula IPA, too.

Looks like awesome suggestions, much appreciated! Definitely hitting Weldwerks as well. Speaking of them, will they fill growlers from other breweries?
