I can think of one bleacher stand and one right under the marquee but you are correct.

 

He's pulling your leg. As much as I'd love people to think the release is next week (to ensure I get some), it's tomorrow.

 

I don't think anyone can confirm this now. Your best bet is to monitor the thread tomorrow, HA social media and you can always call HA @ 773-248-4038 tomorrow for an update near 5pm or whenever.

 

From what I remember reported in this thread (I didn't grab any myself) GDDC lasted into Saturday late morning/early afternoon.

 

Damn, was hoping to go to The Open Bottle BHA release on the 8th. Have tickets to see Tool that night though. Fortunately my friend who lives near HA has a half day tomorrow. Time to start harassing him... EDIT:...again.

 

You're making the right decision...who knows when Tool will be through town again. I'm just trying to figure where a good spot for beers pre-show is around Rosemont. And hoping that I can find some BHA in the wild.

I'll probably be getting there fairly late (i.e. after putting the kids to bed) tomorrow. There was plenty of GDDC available just before the retail shop closed on Friday, I'm hoping for the same with BHA. At the very least, I'm planning on having a glass of it with a burrito.

 

There's a burger this week only, in honor of BHA. You have to have the burger.

 

I had the burger yesterday. Very good. Would get again when available.

Agreed on the decision to see TOOL over BHA release. Setlists look great and you have no idea how bummed I am to miss the show at Allstate...

 

Yeah, agreed 100% that it's the right thing. My luck though that it would be occurring on the same day when I'm already up there. And wow, the setlists are looking stellar. Haven't seen them since '03, prior to that was at the Aragon in '97, or was it '96. I was in highschool, I know that. Things sort of run together from back then.

 

Geez dude go see a band you like, it's just a friggin beer. I bet half the people in this thread too will complain about how this year's release is "nowhere near as epic as last year's mannnn"

I'll stop before I make a scene here. Seriously though, there was never a consideration to not go. Music is substantially more important to me than beer. Just an unfortunate coincidence of great things on the same day.

 

Shoeless Joe's Alehouse and Grill (Rosemont ) is about a 2 minute drive from the Allstate and often has a solid to strong taplist.
In fact, if you get to the Allstate early enough, you could walk to Shoeless Joe's and back.
