!00 % agree they started with a sticker on the 4-pk holder now date is on bottom of can, saw it on some 5/22 Blissful, and the 6/01 Hooey wish others (local) would follow suit.

Forager is releasing Magnus on Saturday, 6/17/17. Below are the details that the brewery posted on Facebook. A bit steep if you ask me (& you didn't), but what the market is willing to bear & all that.

On June 17th at 11am, we will be selling bottles of Magnus, an imperial stout aged in honey-soaked bourbon barrels and conditioned atop coffee, cacao nibs and vanilla beans.

We hope to have around 125 bottles available for public sale, 1 per person, $30. We will also have tons of crowlers available for sale that day (limits and prices TBD, shooting for 200-400 cans of each variety) - expect the following beers available in crowlers:

    - Pudding Goggles imperial porter w/ cinnamon and coconut
    - Regal Hops Citra DIPA
    - Twisted Zweig: Blue Fruit imperial Berliner Weisse w/ elderberry, black currant and aronia berry
    - Twisted Zweig: Hallertau Blanc imperial Berliner Weisse double dry-hopped w/ Hallertau Blanc
    - Sherpa's Survival Kit: American double stout w/ vanilla bean, cacao nib and coffee
    - Preserved Lemon Gose: German-style gose conditioned on sea salt and preserved Meyer lemons

We will have all of these beers, including Magnus, available on draft that day - stay tuned for more details next week.

Only 125ish bottles of Magnus? I was going to head down when they released this but not sure anymore. I don't even mind a 1 per person limit I just would hate to drive all that way and strike out.

Bottle count is what is steep here. Would not chance driving down for only 125 sales. Magnus at this PP is fine IMO. Would love some Pudding Goggles thou.

I was planning on going to Rochester that weekend but doesn't look like I will be going to Forager. I will hit the other two quality breweries in town. Other than Magnus in this release, Sherpa's Survival Kit IMHO is world class.

If you have not had Omnipollo Sphloing! Go buy a 4pk of it ,Batch 002 has been out for awhile it's a hazy, tropical mango NEIPA style from Sweden with some smores added.

I thought they only did crowlers and mango and smores sounds gross.

Your wrong on both statements, Try it B4 you make a blanket comment. 4-paks have been out for months. Not gross at all IMO

I will agree that is not a pairing I would personally pick, but the beer was descent enough.
