Central Market Southlake still had cans from the second batch, April dates.

I grew up in FW and have been to the Martin House brew co. open house they hold on the weekends. Great beer, great atmosphere. In my opinion, one of the best and yet underrated breweries in all of Texas right now. I'm currently living in San Antonio and would love to see more Martin House cans available on the shelf here!

I'm a pretty big fan too and agree that they are underated. Definitely in the top tier of DFW breweries. Luckily we've been getting a bit more of their interesting kegged stuff in Houston lately.

I finished a 6 pack of the May 16 canning batch over the last few nights. 4 of the 6 were one of the better Texas IPAs I've had. 1 was markedly definitely less juicy and seemed more harsh/bitter, but still was okay. The other I poured and then did stuff around the house for an hour or so before I remembered about it so no comment

Having the same experience as you did With the 5/16 release. Nice to see this one added into a regular release for DFW

Got a growler fill of 5-17-17. It looks completely different. Clear golden color. A lot less juicy than the original release. Actually tastes more like a pale ale. It's good...but still a little disappointed.

That is pretty much what I got from the cans as well, dated 5/16. I wonder if they were able to secure the same hops for it? My guess would be no, so the recipe changed a little.

New Glarus did this as well with their Scream IIPA. The first version was a very hazy, juicy, wonderland, then the second batch was a clear more filtered version, and not the same in just about every way.

Could this be the same issue that Parish Brewing was suffering from and decided to change their yeast out to get a more consistent performance/look

Bought some 9-12-17 cans today. I didn't have a lot else to choose from so I gave it a shot. It's good. I remember (and think even posted on this thread), that when they're good the longevity is quite impressive. Almost a month old and it's still tasting good.

Yeah the 9/12 batch is solid. Seems to be more back to form. Also, the Cellarman's Wet Hopped Mosaic, some good sh!t right there as well.

I cannot seem to run in to the Cellarman's. I haven't been to my usual spots, but still seeing the Phoenix hops one everywhere I go.

The wet hop Mosaic Cellarman's has green plastic can holder, stands out against the yellow can. They should still have some at CM Southlake and Hall's in Colleyville. Not sure if that is around where you are....

I wasn't super impressed with Mosiac Wet Hop. For my money, I'd rather see the Cascade Wet Hop as I think it fits the malt bill better. I *think* Martin House did this in the past...
