That's good to know. I've been there a few times and haven't run across this situation. I've been able to get a crowler of any of the gummy beers I've wanted.

And I finally made it down to Forbidden Root to grab some Radio Swan and Snoochie. Looking forward to trying them both. And I love the 32 oz metal containers. Should make sending beers to my buddy in SF a little easier.

You are indeed correct. No Gummypocalypse growlers. Was close enough that I was stopping regardless. Grabbed a growler of mosaic gummy. Cheers!

Had 4 glasses of Pliny at Russian river last night and boy is it nice to change things up from all of the NE IPAs in Chicago (as much as I love them).

Did someone say middle brow.....should be out in a few of the normal places were found early next week. It's also like sorta a NEIPA...water profile, oats and cold hops like a neipa but we used a Belgian yeast blend with London 3 and used a weird fermentation ramp to rip a ton of Belgian fruit flavors to compliment the el dorado & lemon drop hops. If you like bananas & pineapple in your fruit salad this ones for you...hoppy saison, Belgian neipa...who knows. It's a hazy hoppy summer beer.

Ahh I miss Pliny. Yeah that'll make you forget about these NEIPA's.

Yup. Fresh Pliny is amazing. Top 5 of any IPA IMHO.

Van Hazen is out. Looks like we will have to go about a week without a Corridor NE IPA. :slight_frown:

Yep, got a growler of that and a howler of Snoochies a few days ago. Both are tasting great!

Stopped in to see my parents this weekend in NWI, so I grabbed Windmill's newest offering. Initially it poured very clear and I was instantly upset - it was also $21 per 4-pack...

I poured in the second half of the can, and holy floaties! Not only does it not taste great (way too much lactose, and there's a noticeable burn in my throat after each sip), but the floaties turned off.

    Incoming floaty pictures:

Memes and Dreams was really good, but this one missed the mark. Looking forward to getting back to the city where the offerings have been much better!

Tried justins new brew "Double DIPA". I actually thought it was excellent. Nice creamy mouthfeel without over powering bitterness. Nice 8% abv and quite crushable. Brought home a couple crowlers of it. I really think he did an outstanding job

    Trust me, I already don't!

I already had a bad taste in my mouth from the $21 price, but nothing about this beer was any good...

They're going to have to start putting these things back in bottles if the price goes up anymore. Don't see any high priced spirits or wines in cans, for those prices the contents better switch to a premium package...
