Never been, but this place looks like they could hook you up.

As a first time attende. But not a novice to beer festivals. I have to say, this was a very well run festival, and should be used as the model as to how to do things right.

    Thanks FW

Agreed! They do a great job! My wife and I have traveled from Chicago for four years for this fest and it remains our favorite! Well run, great beer, we meet great people and always look forward to returning! Cheers, West Coast brothers and sisters!

It's the best and was great again. Someone mentioned that Uberbrew was underrated, and their triple ipa was effing fantastic. Timbo lasting towards the end was beautiful. Side Project line wasn't as bad as past years. Omnipollo's mud cake gimmick was delicious and could only work in a 4oz increment.

I'm definitely back next year. I was blown away by how well run it was. I didn't get all the whales, but it didn't matter because there was so much good shit. The heat was rough but I survived just fine. Got to meet some of the folks here like @Hopgoddess312, @Vitacca and @pumptrick. Definitely staying at the Adelaide next year.

I actually thought it was rather watery and the AB Derivation was overly sweet. I was stoked to be able to give both a try....but meh...I rather have Balaton. =)

The Adelaide shares and the house share that @reefer_bob invited me to was fun as hell. Good times, good beers, great company, shitty heat, but will likely attend next year.

A great show as always. Man does Firestone know how to run a great festival! Highlights for me were Apple Brandy Derivation and 3 Candles from the People's Choice Award winning Side Project, Yuzu Sunrise & Fuzzbox from Garage Project, Pecan Pie Black Tuesday from The Bruery. Can't wait til next year.

I didn't think Blend 6 was watery at all. I didn't wait around for AB though. Balaton was spectacular as well.

In order of stouts I thought #6 (didn't think watery), then 3 Candles (a bit sweet but that's only sitting hairs relative to fantastic beers), then AB (massive amount of barrel, there is no doubt, just enjoyed the others more). While Balaton and La Fosse were great, I thought Biere Blanche was a true stand out.

Awesome fest as always. FW keeps in classy and 99% of the attendees do too. Best part was all of the great people we met. @Hopgoddess312 and @Vitacca ... I'm talking to you. I hope ya'll make it back next year! And my only complaint about the Adelaide share last night was that ya'll did finish my pulled pork!

1st timer here, thought this was the best run beer event i've ever been to. food was fantastic all around, thought there wasnt a single bad taco. in the end i think i ate more than i drank.

also got to try incredible beers, got to try existence (a little hot), fonta flora for the first time. also hats off to side project, cory came through the line pouring anabasis and double barrel derivation. thought it was D6 > DB > AB derivation.

Thanks for going back to grab that rbavss to share with us, that was awesome! I couldn't finish ab derivation and missed blend 6. Line pours of double barrel derivation and anabasis were amazing and I too really enjoyed that balaton.

    What a great weekend...

Adelaide was a blast this year, Friday was great, Saturday felt even better because we were less than strangers by then haha.

Side Project killed it, the line was nowhere near as bad as 2016, bottle pours in line were ridiculous. Omnipollo's soft serve BA stout was insane. Revolution had VSOJ on tap all day, highlight for me. Other Half's DDH Daydream in Green was perfectly refreshing when I had it. So much good stuff, so many great people, not enough line cutters to really piss anyone one off.

Thanks to all the BAs at the Adelaide pool for so many amazing pours.

I can't wait to do it again!

By the way, Beatification was tasting pretty damn good. Any word on whether we're going to see bottles this year? I didn't get a chance to ask them. It's been two years since the last release, right?
