The week is upon us! I see people on FB saying they're getting there at 2-3am. Sounds a bit extreme. What time you peeps getting there? 6-7?

Every release people say they're getting there @ 2-3, or they're gonna camp out all night....I have yet to see it happen.

Assuming there are 500+ bottles, I'll probably try for 6-7, which usually means 730-8 lol

I heard whispers that the limits will be 2pp of each of the 3 stouts (Big Poppa, Boutit Boutit, and Boss Tycoon). However, no idea on yield/total bottle count.

No whispers, 2pp is what they posted on the event page.

All the stuff regarding what time folks are getting there.. IDK. BUT...I do know a guy who knows folks flying in for the release from Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL. Pretty hyped.

Crazy. And my fiancé thinks I'm nutty for driving an hour to sit in line for 5 hours

Maybe I just have different priorities, but this just seems silly for a 2pp release.

Guys who know guys: the most reliable source of info on the internet

I'm less interested in what times people are showing up, more so in what y'all are bringing to drink

Not bringing anything too crazy. After 4 hours of insane sharing at the DFPF release, I was in no shape to go anywhere, and was definitely ready to get the hell out of there. Definitely going to try and stay a little more low key this time around. Probably just bring some local Calusa stuff.

Yah, doesn't make too much sense. Even if they're flipping bottles, 2pp would probably have them breaking even with airfare & whatnot. But who knows, maybe FOMO is that strong.

The trick is to drink the water that you use to rinse your glass. No joke, this has saved me at every line share I've been to. That, and consuming copious amounts of bacon are the keys to success.

Since these shares usually have me burping up stale barrel flavors for the few days after, I think I'm just gonna bring some sours and IPAs... got some growlers of AC hops from last weekend and a saison du fermier b1 that I might bust out.

I'll bringing sours and Civil cans. I'm always offered world class beers but many times are BA stouts. I was lucky to sit next to dude during dreamsicle drop who had a bunch of Casey and sure was refreshing on a hot day.

Also looking like rain poncho weather lol

This will be the first time I attend one of these releases so I'm pretty excited. Also planning on bringing some TH milkshakes and trillium cans, I feel like it'll be nice with the warm weather (even if it rains, but hopefully it won't be too bad.. fingers crossed)

Per Jon's personal IG, details being posted today. He also stated cash or credit which should make for a slooooow line. One of perks of getting there early is a shorter line once they open. Although I was #75 for ay que Rico, I still had to wait until 1 or so to get my beers. Someone also asked if it was rain or shine lol
