Without having evidence to back this up, it feels like they've adjusted the output of popular beers like Lunch and AO to where they are more available and pulled back on the ones that were a little less popular. As a result there no longer seems to be 4-5 MBCs on any given store shelf but 1-2 and then AO and Lunch are still selling quickly but not hard to find at all.

Totally agree, that's what I was trying to get across saying their less popular beer stays on the shelves (much like similarly priced singlecut brews). Definitely could've worded that better.

What a hype juggernaut this Dinner thing has become. I do moderately crazy things when it comes to driving distances for beer and waiting in line -- but I just can't get up for my first Dinner run. Great beer -- in an otherwise great but not amazing line up. Maybe if there were other MBCO beers I was excited about I'd be more interested? Maybe if they at least did monthly releases?

I'm right there with you. I've waited in line for most of the major beer releases in New England but MBC just hasn't motivated me to do it... not sure why

Do people still have to wait in line now that they're using tickets and giving everyone an entire morning to pick-up their case?

No more lines. You buy a ticket for a release window and go there, get your case, in and out quickly. Last release I showed up 30 minutes early for my time slot and they still just let me walk in and get my case. It's a lot better than it used to be - I don't miss freezing my ass off at 5am standing in a line for hours to overpay for great beer.

That's good. I've only gone up once, stood in line with my wife and @bostonwolf at an ungodly time of morning in 30 degree weather. Worth it for the beer and the experience but I'd be hard-pressed to do it again.

Yeah, after my first 2 or 3 trips the appeal of the experience (Which was definitely cool) went away and it became a pain in the ass. Now you have people complaining about not getting tickets online (They sell out in a minute or two lol) but I'd probably never go to another release if I had to stand in line again.

I understand ya'll seem tired of doing this but after all these attempts I made in recent years I finally get to attend and finally get to experience dinner. ..I honestly can't believe I got tickets

That was some fast ticket moving!

11am slot seemed to be out instantly. Early slot seemed to last about 8 minutes.

    Congrats!! It's amazing stuff.

Got my ticket as well. I honestly don't know what these people are doing who get shut out 1 minute after they go on sale. I have yet to miss out with the ticketing. Just mash F5, haha.

Having to buy tickets just to stand in line to buy a beer is the dumbest most hipster-hypebeast shit I've ever heard of

Buying tickets avoids one from having to stand in line and assures that you will get your allotment.

And it also makes it a matter of who has the fastest Internet connection instead of who is willing to go wait in line and buy the beer. Sorry, but if you have to sell tickets just for people to get the opportunity to buy a case, there's something wrong with your business model

They sell every speck of Dinner every time they brew it. If "selling your entire stock within hours of it going on sale literally every time" is a bad business model, I'd be curious what a good one looks like.

    Ask Tree House :stuck_out_tongue:

Don't ever see any "juice machine" tickets do you?

That's not really a fair comparison. Tree House silent release all of their non-standard beers because it's going to sell out regardless of if it is something special or not. MBC has built as someone further up the thread puts it a "hype juggernaut" with Dinner, where they're pre-announcing when it's going to be available.

It would be an absolute disaster if Tree House pre-announced something like Good Morning 3 weeks in advance.

Given the size of the expansion going on at MBC I'd say they kind of have their business model figured out just fine. And the tickets sold out in minutes and they're going to move every last drop at $8/bottle. Again, I'd say it's working for them...

That's cause treehouse would rather let people flood the streets of the area in monson idling for an hour trying to find a parking spot and then to wait in line for another hour after getting that spot to grab those 3 cans of juice machine..oh and stress out thst it may be lowered or gone by the time you get to the table...
I'd rather this ticket deal thank you where 99% of these issues are voided.. now what sounds like a better business model?
