Not sure what can be done about people figuring out how to game the card system by huddling up front when the cards are given out.

Sign-in sheet for people to sign their names or something when they arrive?

As far as the line being slow because of credit at the last release, I think it was also partially due to the sheer number of options you were presented with to buy beer when it was your turn to decide what you wanted and pay.

I'm going to suggest they put up a poster of some sort with the prices and per-person limits so everyone buying knows exactly what to ask for and how much they need to pay when it is their turn in line to buy.

 

The price sheet could be helpful. But they'd be a big one before people got to the front.


For line cutting......probably would need to do what cycle did for scoop

In general for lines I like that idea.

 

It's not fool proof...As people can move up to get a beneficial number

But if they do it early enough.....will cut off some of the late stragglers that cut. But then again.....the cards and tokens work with same idea. They just need to be numbered and given early

Agreed.. If they really really cared about the fact that folks skip they would have someone out there all night doing the numbering as they show up...But then again... that would cost money bc no one is going to stand out there all morning for free lol.

 

I honestly don't think line cutters is high priority for them and for good reason: they have to worry about selling bottles to a massive crowd while also serving beers in the taproom to that same crowd. It's honestly up to the people in line to police the line.

That being said, I'd gladly hang out all morning and hand out numbers as people arrived if they'd break me off a bottle or two.

 

There's the real point. Cost money...for what? When they'll likely sell out.

Really not on them. It's not. And thru should be commended for the efforts.

Plus the lining up the opposite direction will make space tight. The sidewalk isn't as spacious

The allotment per bottle have been posted to their Facebook and in this thread for some time now.

Overall bottle count....don't think JWB themselves has ever posted that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though
