FYI they just said they're hoping to have HH cans available in the General Store beginning today. Stopping there to grab some should be very easy. Don't sleep on the bottles available there, either.

I hate to be a pain and keep asking questions, but what do they have there as far as bottles go, is there a list somewhere that I don't see on their website? I don't want to have my poor sister on the phone reading them all to me, lol.

Any suggestions on what to try? I do not like Farmhouse ales/ saisons, I am starting to tolerate sours, but I do like pretty much everything else...I especially love stouts and IPAs. I know, I know, I'm basic.

The bottles they have are listed on the page before this one. Their bottled beers are typically farmhouse ales with some acidity from mixed cultures and barrel aging. Not usually "sours" like Almanac or Upland might make, but never straight and clean farmhouse like you might find in a 6-pack on a grocery store shelf. They are excellent beers and in my opinion the best ones they make, but if you're not into the style then you might not enjoy them.

Tired Hands is pretty much a two style brewery - IPAs and Saisons. IPAs are canned, and Saisons are bottled. They brew some occasional lagers and porters/stouts, but those are by far the minority.

Curious how long those cans will stay in the fridge. Seems they're taking a less FOMO approach by just saying "we have cans!" instead of posting allotments, limits, and sale times.

Yeah I'm very curious about the psychology of it all. It would be awesome if one day they just pulled a Kane type announcement and said something like, "At opening today we'll have the General Store cooler stocked with Double Extra Vanilla Mango Kalamansi Milkshakes. Here 'till it's gone. #DreamShelfBeer"

I'm still seeing the IG post. Should be a pretty easy release I would think.

$18/4pk for, essentially, a session IPA? C'mon, man. Who buys that when they can get HopHands for almost 30% less right down the road?

Its the "new flavor of the week" effect...diehard fans dont want to miss out on the "new" thing each week and flippers don't want to miss out on potential profits

Would you like to make a bet? I am willing to bet that Go Ride a Bike will be entirely sold out.

    Cheers!

I'll let you know Jack, I'm going for the Alien Church (one of my favs) and I'll see what supply looks like. I'll probably try a 4 pack of it, but that's probably it.

Hey guys, thinking about heading out tonight for my first can release. Would you guess the lines won't be too bad for this one? Thanks.

Speaking of HopHands, the other night I was at my local bar that typically has 4-5 Tired Hands tap lines (and HopHands pretty much permanently). There was this older couple next to me at the bar (possibly in their 70's) and I heard one of them ask the bartender, "Is this HopHands?" And the bartender said, "Yep." They then went on to say it tasted different. I went ahead and asked them how it tasted different, but they couldn't really say, just that it was different. I asked if it had more of a buttery flavor, and they said, "Maybe." I talked to them a little more and found out that they basically didn't know Tired Hands from Budweiser, but came to this bar frequently just because they liked HopHands so much.

So I thought it was interesting that more of a "regular person" recognized the quality issues of HopHands as sometimes I wonder if our palates are so crushed that our perceptions are way off (which I still do believe to be true to some extent).
