That's just an appetizer for the Veilian regular! HA!

BC is to me the best VA IPA/DIPA/TRIPA I have ever had and even though I am a little over an hour away I would not get a full case but of course people do it regularly for muling and trades. I'm not heavy into either so I would also likely just get 2 4pks max and that's usually what I cap myself at for a specific beer anyway so I'm not spending way too much for it to be borderline crazy.

RRR has 173 cases going into release with a 2 case limit. 15 cases rolled over into Sat. Surprise Valley, same release day, has a little over 140 cases (same 2 case limit) and sold out that day. I think because BC has been released before and people remember that beer it's going to be a good one for TBC and I would not chance it thinking some make it to the evening much less Sat. Since TBC likes to use The Veil wording maybe they should add the "**Limits Subject to Change**" and revisit that on Friday when they see the line and final yield.

I thought you were one of the folks that loved BC - meant zero offense in my hype language above so hopefully none taken. I'm just antsy because I haven't been to a RVA release since the Veil party and have a flight landing at RIC that day so timing wise it's pretty close, but not sure if cans will make it until I get there.

It's interesting - no analogous release to this one. I bet they stay the course unless there's a yield issue. Even 2x the normal line only means like 50 people at open.

Definitely am. Absolutely loved that beer. I also don't get to RVA all that often for releases and miss out on many unless I come across a friend who happens to get down but I would be one to hype BC up big time since I was fortunate to be in RVA for the last release. Just so happened to happened around the Dec holidays so work did not interfere since I was off.

The good thing about TBC is even when cans sell out it's not a huge deal since they will do Crowlers Downtown. The only sticking point to that, as you probably know, is they won't do those until Saturday so if they sell out Friday and you miss out then but unable to stick around for the weekend then one does miss out other than grabbing draft pours.

Hope timing works out on Fri for you!

Details about tomorrow release....They have been canning today so the final counts should be pretty close to what they have stated

Our Friday Red vs. Blue Lockout DIPA release in Fulton is here. Both of these beers are incredibly aromatic and showcase each hop singularly. For this release, this is by far the most cases we have offered for a single brand at 260 cases each. This is also the most beer we have canned to date for a release.

For the first 5 people in line we will be giving away (1) Lockout glasses (pictured) for Free. These are the last of these glasses that we have on hand.

    - Battle Creek DIPA - 100% Mosaic DIPA - $16.50 per 4 pack. Roughly 260 cases and a 1 case limit per person.

    - Valhalla DIPA - 100% Citra DIPA - $16.50 per 4 pack. Roughly 260 cases and a 1 case limit per person.

Too bad they didn't cut these limits back a little.

Agreed. They are sticking by their normal limits based on overall case counts but this one is going to surprise them. Their 120-130 counts for these limit release batches usually come in at a 3-4 4pk count. Maybe they want that high feeling of clearing $51,000 in 1 day. Wish I could be there but very proud of the success they are going to see tomorrow.

And I saw a post of 5 people in line at 10AM. Like, for real guys.

I'm convinced they care more about bragging on how fast they sell out than they do getting it to as many people as possible.

My guess is that post was just due to the number of glasses being handed out so it would hopefully trick people into thinking hope was lost and people would not show up as early.

I'm eager to know what the line situation is but also respect people are not posting about it all over fb hyping it up even more. It's to see a little change of pace than when I read through the line updates on btv. There is a mystery surrounding it and people are probably like me left wondering and guessing what its looking like.

EDIT: and immediately after typing this post I head to The Veil thread to pass along into about cans that remain. Made me laugh at myself with how hypocritical that just was. HA

    Ah, I missed the joke!

I've got a buddy going at noon so he should let me know. As I said ^^ I can't get there til 4 so case per is high, but if they sell 500 cases of beer in 4 hours they'd beat Veil 2 can release #s so I'm optimistic.

Report is about 50 in line at 12:30 - seemingly lunch break for a lot of folks.

As of about 45 minutes ago, staff confirmed over 100 cases of each left. Pretty impressive sell through in the first 2 hours though. Looks like a very smooth (and quick) moving line from what I saw posted.

Got here at 4 pm, zero line, plenty in stock. First time to this location - kids are reading comics and eating pizza while the wife and I enjoy fresh Valhalla and Battle Creek. It's pretty great!

Got there at 4:30 - in and out. No time to stick around unfortunately but got my cans!

I tried to get either how much was left or sold. Was told "sold a lot" and it won't make it through the weekend but should make it to tomorrow.

Good, but not much! Sold 216 of BC and 195 of Valhalla.

    15 cases of each Downtown.

Fulton has 25 BC and 45 Valhalla.

Releasing Friday June 16th at Fulton, the return of Green Dreams DIPA w/ Citra and Columbus

    Green Dreams
    - Our ever rotating, ever evolving Double IPA series. Much like dreams, certain hop varieties can be fleeting and hard to fully grasp. Rather than fight that truth, we'd rather embrace our own Green Dreams which will allow us to brew beers with often rare ingredients, and new processes. This variation of Green Dreams contains Citra and Columbus hops.

    Case Count and Limits: TBA
