Anyone going? I'll be there with some friends tomorrow. I had a real good time last year in Milwaukee despite the brutal heat. Glad it's inside this year. Last year the beer was good, but nothing real crazy was tapped (BA Narwahl, RBCP, Deth's Tar were some of the things I recall last year). This year however, the notifications I keep getting as it gets closer to tomorrow are starting to worry me about my personal well being... According to the app and/or Untappd venue SN made for it - Galaxy Bowl, Watch for Falling Coconuts, Gummypocolypse, BHA, Arowana, Really Dank Meme, Pentegram, Wooden Hell, Benthic, BA Abduction, Dosvidanya, BB Hunter to name a few that stood out to me. And that's just the obvious ones I remember. From what I've heard there may be a few more surprises too...
I can't wait - Navy Pier was an awesome venue the last time they had it there. Large inside space to beat the heat and the and they had last time in CHI was best musical performance ive seen at a beerfest. Hoping this years is just as good. I looked at the app and ended up with like 50 beers i wanted to try lol, o well theres plenty of time just need to pace :-)
I am in a similar predicament. Not to mention we have aspirations of hitting up Forbidden Root and other places at some point. Food trucks look decent. Only beer change I've seen is that Dosvidanya appears to be out of the rare beer list. Maybe 18th St. is bringing Nailed? Good on them for bringing 2 solid offerings!
