I LOVE Aurora Hoppyalis, IMHO this is one of the most underrated west coast IPAs ever made. I hate to say it but I strongly believe it's because it's a Karl Strauss label, if this was brewed by Beachwood it would be a different story.

    Cheers,

Wait. $8 for a growler of Aurora Hoppyalis??? That's a fantastic brew. Does this happen all day on Fridays?

Speaking of Beachwood....anybody try the new collab with pure? Did they do 2 new IPAs or 1 > Knot Murky, and Knot Clear is Pure only?

Both were collabs with Beachwood. Thank you for the interest and support of Beachwood & Pure Project. Cheers!

...interesting. They only put Beachwood on one of the cans and sold the other as 100% theirs.

Has anyone visited the Anaheim location of Karl Strauss? If so, do they do growler fills? Also, how's the food?

    Read top post for growler.

Food is good, reminds a lot of 38° vibe.

Yes on growler fills. Friday's is $8 or $10 fills all day long. Depending on which beers. Food isn't bad there. I think their BBQ chicken sandwich is pretty tasty. I prefer the Anaheim location over Costa Mesa.

Ahh, nice. I knew that the Costa Mesa location does growler fills. Just wanted to make sure that the Anaheim location does them before making the trip.

Went to Lido in Manhattan Beach...well I'm pretty sure it's in El Segundo. Its in the same shopping mall as Houston's and Bristol farms.

This was a couple of weeks back. Tap list wasn't great, so I decided to order a bottle of ESBC Blue House IPA. Noticed something about the label wasn't right. Poured it and had a taste, and it was pretty bad. Looked at the bottle date...11/2014
They replaced it with some crap they on tap...still my god. Not sure if this belonged here or "Good, Bad, and Ugly" thread.
