Well said! I was thinking about the difference in abv, but didn't post that.

And cheers to you and everyone at OH for another week of cranking out cans with flawless execution.

OH does the NE IPA thing very well but that is about it. I think to get to Trillium level, they need to show high caliber non-IPAs.

Good point, let's qualify it and limit it to IPAs.

I think OH is definitely in that top tier of IPA breweries with Trillium and others. It feels like so many places are pumping out very high quality IPAs at the moment.

A subject that can be categorized as subjective, temperamental, sensitive…at this point one can argue that Trillium and OH are equivalents in the IPA category, given some fluctuation

As far as Trillium dominating other categories outside the IPA realm is debatable; stouts can be overly sweet, sours can be overly acidic, and balance is questionable

I know these questions are annoying so sorry but thank you in advance. I know it would just be a guess but any thoughts on what will make it to tomorrow, I know DMD will since it was a double. Any thoughts on Small Green, couldn't make it today but may have some time tomorrow. I haven't been up there in a long time because of lines seems like today would've been perfect.

While I can't say for sure, but there was literally no line at 11am and tons of beer left. I wouldn't be surprised if all three made it to tomorrow. Not sure if Still Shinin' will make it, but if it does definitely don't sleep on that one. Today's release was perfect, hoping this is a sign of things to come.

Agree, I don't think Trillium dominates other styles. I argue that HF still is a relatively clear heads and above breweries in the NE given stellar examples across IPAs, stouts, saisons, etc. Drink an Abner, Everett, Brother Sougne, and then a Flora.

Ha ha, you know how I feel about this ! OH IPAs blow away HF, but that is in my IMHO. HF so overrated.

    ...Lagers, Pilsners

HF is a different ball game; Abner is like reading a novel = no equivalent here

I'm fairly certain that Abner will always remain my favourite beer of all time

Limited quantities of all 4 remaining beers should make it til tomorrow

Terse answer is no, not really close. OH is making great stuff, consistently the best in NYC for sure (for hops). While I really enjoy DDH DMD (reg version is better though), DDH Melcher is much better than DDH DMD imo. I would be hard pressed to find more than a couple of beers from OH I prefer to most any of Trills hoppy offerings. On the stout side/porter side, not even in the same ballpark.

Not bashing here so don't take it the wrong way, just being realistic. OH is great, and I am a huge fan. Trill though is just crushing it.

“not really close” – Reserve this for another MA brewery

Just one person's opinion. Trillium > Treehouse.

Think there'll be a can line today before open or can folks wander in around noon since it's going to be a disgustingly hot Sunday?

Same thing I'm wondering haven't been in forever but it's about an hour 15 for me. Beer fridge has been literally empty for a week, decisions decisions.

OH Instagram just posted 150 DDH DMD cases left. Is it safe to say that will last at least til Tuesday? Much easier to go after work than travel all the way from Queens
