Worth trying. It has a lot of nice stuff going on with it but I'm not itching for more.

The BA TORIS is really good, but not a huge departcher from the normal TORIS. Definitely worth a try though.

If you can find a friend with Night Vision though, get your hands that. Definitely the best variant of TORIS imo.

I can only imagine what BA TORIS will cost for a 22 oz.

Really reasonable actually, like almost all their stuff.. $17.99/bottle

...and I feel like I'm breaking the bank getting a $17/six of various DIPA releases.

For a 14% BBA Stout though, you're gonna pay considerably more for a bomber of similar quality from almost anywhere else. Funky Buddha and CCB for instance... you'd be looking at $22-25 for a similar bottle.

For about $.40 an ounce that would make that 6pk cost $28.80 or 4pk cost $19.20. If you are fine with that then you have more expendable income than most. That's an IPA...with Grapefruit. Not a Lambic or Stout that sat in a barrel for a year. An IPA that took 3-6 weeks to make. Once again, HF stealing your money.

Or at least bottle date, but that seems like it's too much to ask for.

Between the two extremes of people who like paying $9.99 for IPA bombers and those who think HF is horrible--there's probably a very significant market of people, like me, who like HF beers, but rarely ever buy them because they don't want a bomber of beer.

I can easily say that my consumption of HF would go up exponentially if they packaged their beers differently. Again, like a lot of the beers they make, but probably buy 1 or 2 bottles of HF a year because I don't like the price/bottling format.

I'm buying Bodhi for 20.8 cents an ounce for a four pack, it's hard for me to see a four pack of Bodhi sitting next to a bomber of Grapefruit Gangster and not choosing Bodhi.

Are there any new breweries slated to hit Ohio distro in the next few months?

PSA: this is the "new to Ohio" thread. IMO ya'll need to start a HF thread and continue the bickering there.

I'm not sure this has been addressed but it seems to be that lately, we've been seeing a lot more distribution from Three Floyds than previously. Like, it actually seems to have some semi-regularity on shelves now. I've see cases of Alpha King and Gumballhead sitting open on floors in a few shops.

I remember the days not so long ago that stores had bottle limits on the case or two of Alpha King they would get.

Amazing what brewery expansion can accomplish.

Agreed. We're tired of the reports, too. And I tried to clean up some of the more recent bickering.

Everyone: Please stick to the thread's topic and take the bickering to a private conversation. Thanks.

While I may have strayed from the Ohio topic with the bomber conversation, I was not bickering. Let alone about a specific brewery. I don't care that much about Hoppin Frog either way. However, my last post was deleted even though I was speciffically discussing an Ohio brewery. Actually multiple Ohio breweries. Anyway, @Todd if you are able to BM me my last post I would be glad to send it directly to @Spider889 if we can't do it here because I enjoy the conversation.

Part of that was a pertinent to the thread question, but specifically Wolfs Ridge related, so I will take it there for anyone who wants to discuss their new saison.

@WesMantooth I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. Just attempting to help keep the peace at the request of other users. So replies were removed, too. But check your messages.
