let me educate. Bums or vagrants would use crumpled up pieces of newspaper to line their clothing to help hold the warmth close to their bodies. Sorry I went all "New York" on your ass.

I really enjoyed my cozy tent last year, got almost eight hours of sleep.

Well, my old ass slept out in a chair to get Great Taste tickets last year, I can do it again. My wife, on the other hand, might need a coffee-IV to keep her alive in the cold.

Still haven't decided. If I do, I won't be isolated up on the corner all by myself.

I was told it was going to be some sort of chicken product instead of the vile pig. Alas, you can keep your chicken and your pig. I'll be taking some freshly canned indeed, some brain belt, and maybe a few chocolate stouts and wishing I were with all of you schmucks.

Mmmmmm. "Brain Belt". A new offering, perhaps? Can't wait to see it!

Did I miss where it says no tents? Isnt it just no tents during the day? Cant you put one up to sleep in for a few hours then take it down before sunup?

I am not sure if that was intentional or not, but there are cans of the Big Friendly with Zombies on them.

Awesome, thanks for the advice everyone. My girlfriend will be coming with me, and we definitely plan on befriending those around us in line. I'll try to wander around and find you guys to thank you more properly with some beer. Does anyone ever wear "BA nametags" of some kind? I've done this in the past, and it's always nice to put some faces to the screen names. I think in my previous midwest forum lurkings I saw a thread about someone making BA pins for just such occasions; did that come to fruition?

On a related note, is there an organized "in-line" bottle share at all? I could certainly contribute some stuff. Or do people usually get spread out to the point where it becomes infeasible and they just drink whatever's around?

buttons sadly never happened, unless ungertaker has extra time prior to darkness day to make them.

Someone made some for the DLD tasting we did this past year. Worked great. Who is an artist?

I have them designed, just haven't had time to get together with Dan to actually make the buttons. I might make some name tags at work and bring them.

To hold things over until something more elaborate surfaces, I could just order up a small batch of simple black buttons with the gold/white BA letters on them. A small batch of 50 seems relatively cheap, and I could just pass them out at DD if people are interested.

I'm a fan of the nametag idea. Minnesotaryan, if you're making pretty ones, you should make me one. Otherwise I will try to remember to grab some sticky business conference "hello my name is" stickers.

There will likely be a few big community tables at the front, but nothing too organized. There are a lot of great ba's who know a lot of other great ba's, and you can just meander your way though the drunkenness. Approach the table humbly and with a bottle in one hand and a glass in the other and you will be welcomed with open arms.
