Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2017

Anyone seen Beer Camp Across the World today? I'm in Bloomington, heading back to Roseville eventually - I'm sort of driving all over hell already, but I've had enough Furious now that I can make a little sojourn if necessary. Thanks!

 

Picked up a couple new releases today... Peach Bum IPA and some Schell's Banana's Foster Weizenbock tonight at France 44. Sadly the Peach Bum IPA has very little peach flavor and tastes a lot like their seasonal IPA Let it Roll. I had super high expectations for the Schell's beer, and I will say that it's a solid weizenbock at a reasonable price, but I didn' get any cinnamon flavor or anything that resembles banana's foster. I may buy more just because it's a solid beer for the style but my hopes of something out of this world fell short....

There were quite a few on a shelf near the registers at Haskells White Bear Lake last week.

 

Magnus is a good deal at $30, definitely will be one of the top stouts in the country this year (even without the hype) and I imagine it to be equally as good as manbearpig if not a fair amount better

 

And I can't even connect to the mncraftbrew.org site. "Error Establishing Database Connection". Anyone have a link to the tickets that works?

Bump to this....Seen bottles floating around the national sites, but anyone see anything local in MN?

 

Last night France 44 had a few cases of Blissful Ignorance, canned 6/12 and tasting great. They also had DDH Sue, Crasher In The Rye, Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break.

 

Are there new bottles of DDH Sue out now or are these still the batch from March?

I have not seen any around the north side. Haven't seen any of the Dragon's Milk variants around this year but would love to try them if anyone else has seen them.

 

Is Keller Pils out there in 12-packs? I've only seen it in the Boundary Waters pack, but I admittedly haven't been looking very hard.

 

Yes, I have seen it quite a few places. TW, MGM, Big Top, etc. On my 3rd 12 pack already!

BTW, Schell's Hefe is now out in 12 pks too
