Scheduled for July 15 at the Cleveland Heights BottleHouse

We are inviting 8 of the areas best, newest and most creative breweries to join us for the First Annual Keepers of the Craft Fest! No million dollar brewhouses, no large investor groups, no 200 seats restaurants, no distribution deals just passion for the art and craft of brewing. Come try beers from these great local producers all in one place and see the diversity that small brewers have at their disposal. Featured will be:

    Brick & Barrel
    The BottleHouse
    The Cleveland Brewery
    Hansa
    HiHo
    The Jolly Scholar
    Noble Beast
    Terrestrial
    Working Class

All beers will be available on draft, this is a non ticketed event but souvenir glasses will be available to purchase along with a tasting of all 8. Brewers and representatives will be here hanging out to talk about their breweries and their unique beers!

Not Your Madres Taco Truck will be here serving delicious grub.

Two One Fix Bike Repair will be available for on site tune ups.

More info and draft list coming soon!

Free parking available behind The BottleHouse.

This was copied and pasted from their Facebook page because I can't find it on their website.

Just to tag onto this. Bottlehouse is releasing 4 new sours at an event next Friday. I tried two on draft in Lakewood Monday night and they're fantastic.

I'll drink it tonight and report back. After I go buy more if it's worthwhile, of course.

Tallgrass must be inching closer, I just saw some of it in Indy Memorial Day weekend.

It was everywhere I shopped at in IL, so this wouldn't surprise me.

Okay, so the Cameron Where The Buffalo Roam...

Hints of bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee, caramelized malt, light toasty notes as well. Some heat on the back end, but not super boozy (being truthful, the ABV is quite well hidden). If I'm honest, it really, really reminds me of BB Brick Kiln, and that's not a bad thing at all.

Overall, I'm going to go buy more while it's on the shelf. Pick some up if you see it.

So, I'm definitely going to this. I just checked their FB page, and got the details. That said, I'm pretty new to going out to find something on tap. Do people get in lines for stuff like this, or can I just happily stroll in right around 3pm when they open and should be just fine to get a flight of the 4 barrels?

One does not simply stroll right into a beer event in 2017.

Lizardville is a go to spot for me. It's never been insane imo even during Cavs finals or at several Cantillon events I've gone to there. That said, BCBS might be crazier than most...

Since all three locations have the beer, I think you'd be fine getting there at/around 3. It may be packed but you'll get your beer. As stated above, they've done Cantillon, Framboos/Hommage, even Pappy Van Winkle events and no one lines up like hours early. It's draft only - a bottle release would be a completely different story because #tradevalue.

Dragon's Milk S'More is hitting the Cincinnati area as well as Stone Ruinten with Orange Peel and Vanilla.

Also, Stone's new Ghost Hammer IPA is delicious, very crushable.
