Have you tired any of their hoppy beers yet? Curious about what you think of a them.

I haven't seen it referred to as a Pilsner anywhere, just a "Lager" (on the can) or described as a "Mexican lager" on their site. Not trying to nitpick, but even if it was called a pils I still think it was a bit raw (unfiltered tends to do that) for the style such as German/Czech pilsner. It's still a nice summer beer regardless of what you call it, i just wouldn't buy it if I was craving a crisp, dry lager/pilsner.

Not sure why I thought it was a pils... nonetheless, I enjoy it. I've had fuego and sipa before and enjoyed both but fuego was very very good.

That makes sense since I haven't read anything indicating a new startup. That could be a cool space for sure.

I've been drinking Tonewood SIPA cans this weekend. I like it a lot. Can't wait to try Chief and/or Fuego. Hopefully Wilco gets some more kegs soon

Central has Troon/Conclave/Referend....north has Magnify....northern costal has Carton/Kane...

Still waiting to see which South Jersey brewery starts batting at that level...

Only had a few Kelly Green beers (and was pretty dismayed about how one of their releases was handled), but the ones I've had have been fantastic.

Tonewood's Fuego was great (and I love the prices/convenience/atmosphere), but I wouldn't say many of their beers are much better than just "good."

in south jersey visiting, did tonewood, and they have a new double IPA the weight that was amazing! Fuego was very good, the weight crushes it!

forgotten boardwalk was very good, but tasting the cans after draft was a disappointment. sharp carbonation. kinda weird actually.

I'll be heading down to South Jersey this weekend. What's the availability of cans at Tonewood? Can I just stop in on Saturday and pick some up?

Glasstown is the best I have had from South Jersey. Brotherton is putting out some good beers.

Can availability at Tonewood is frequent. I would be very surprised if you can't get some.

well they had fuego cans last night....crowlers of it are only $10, growler fill $12 and they fill with co2 first so should have decent shelf life.
