Good point. I was thinking the LB or SB beer and food combo would be the ultimate experience.

Better than anything in Kentucky and when you factor in food it's probably the best food/beer place in LA. I think it has won best brewpub, mid sized brewery several times in the last 5 years at gabf.

Don't expect too much from the BBQ (it's fine, but wouldn't merit a visit without the beers, which are top-notch and make it a "must-visit" when in the area).

You can definitely get better BBQ in Kentucky, but I think their food is really good. I would eat there if they didn't make beer

Dunno about if long beach had the same rework, but the SB mac & cheese improved on greatness.

Are there any good bottle shops/stores near the Disney area? Would love to grab some cans for the hotel room. I see King's is relatively close, but don't know anything about it. Thanks!

Veeco off of Euclid is pretty close. Looks like a dump on the outside but they actually have an awesome selection of craft. That seems to be the theme with liquor stores in the area; dump on the outside, goldmine on the inside.

Hollingshead Deli is just a couple of exits down the 5 freeway from Disney. Probably a $5-7 Uber trip (depending on time of day/traffic). Probably your best option as far as quality and proximity.

    Wouldn't Mr. K's be a little closer?

Not quite. Hollingshead is about half the distance. Mr. K's is certainly a great option as well though if the OP is willing to venture out a little farther.

Yes a good bottle selection......BUT......on the higher side. Maybe a bit higher than Hollingshead Deli.

Depends on how much he is buying. If you facto in the uber to the beer, it might make sense to go to veeco. Not advocating for them just thinking about the dollars and cents.
