It's hit or miss. Sundays can be hugely crowded and unmanageable in so small a space, or quiet and cozy. When OH isn't packed, it really is the perfect space.

The Arlington is the best beer bar on the island. My family vacation is the next week, so sad. Maybe the pils will last

Sounds like the 18th street brewery collab

First visit to OH this weekend.

Arrived around 8:20. Line was long from what we were told. We were likely around the 190 mark in line from a rough count. Crowd was all very nice and respectful. Impressed by the speed the line moved and the staff at the brewery. Was a large Police presence and liked the staff was coming around for people to dispose of garbage. Seemed more of the bottle share/heavy drinking was toward the front of the line. That being said i would absolutely make the trip from NJ again.

I will say I am surprised by the interest/hype in the glassware. I promised my 2 glasses 2 friends as i could careless about glassware but lots of people walking the line offering big $$ for extra glasses..also cabbage is fantastic

Cabbage is tasting A+. Nearly as good as DDH broc to my memory (I missed it by about 50 people)

surprised at the effect that the tekus had in bringing people out. was about to hop into the subway at about noon but decided not to make the trek once OH posted that only 30 cases of Suparillo and a 100 tekus were left.

For most people, it was about the can selection, which was better than past weeks.

ddh broc is pretty hyped. I was surprised to see suparillo as a double batch as opposed to the broc to be honest. Though suparillo is tasting nice right out of the gate

Kanger was mistaken. DDH Suparillo was not a double batch. There were no double batches this weekend.

Yeah, I was blown away when I saw 30 cases with "double batch" on my mind. If DDH DMD lasted a week, suparillo was going to be around a while.

gotcha. Makes more sense as I would expect a double batch Sup to last longer than the double batch DDH DMD. Cheers, thanks for the clarification.

I'm visiting in the Newark, NJ area today-Tuesday...where would be my best bet on getting my hands on some Other Half, either on tap or in cans? I'm willing to drive 30-40 mins from Newark to get it. Thanks!

They dont sell in Jersey, you are going to have to make the trip into the city if you want Other Half. Best bet is to just go to the taproom, though its not open today. A quick Beer Menus search should bring up a list of bars in the city that have it on tap.

Anyone know if theres any REGULAR glassware available for sale these days? All sold out on the website, but was hoping to grab a snifter or whatever when I was there. Obviously I don't expect there to be veggie tekus or anything...

They had regular tulip glasses available for sale in the tap room this past Saturday.
