Tessellation was a nice surprise the last time I was up in Maine. Delicious, no limit, IPA. Drinks like a NEIPA, looks like a WCIPA.

My top 10 would be pretty much all Allagash sours.

If we could get a 3rd Bissell in the list, I'd add Nothing Gold.

Estuary by Fore River is great. Haven't had enough on that last to say it's better than those though.

I'm usually not a fan of sours but the golden brett I tried at allagash was pretty decent. Plus they give away free flights

It's kind of weird that there's 100 breweries in Maine and they brew virtually nothing other than IPAs outside of some sours from Allagash.

What about Oxbow, Banded Horn, Barreled Souls, Rising Tide, Tributary, Austin St., etc. They all also have pretty diverse line ups that are well respected.

Oh I know, it was tongue in cheek in response to the thread so far...I've visited 3 out of those 5 breweries, and have drank Rising Tide (granted it's mostly been their Island Trail Pale Ale) and Banded Horn.

You also forgot Gneiss, who brews a solid hefeweizen and an awesome Kolsch that I had the pleasure of drinking recently.

Nice on the Gneiss! I'll look out for that when I am in ME this weekend. Getting a nice list of stuff to grab while I'm in town for the Dinner release.

Wish I could stop at Allagash, but their Street Fair festival closes the brewery.

    My 10 would be:
    • Geary's Pale Ale served on tap out of the dirty lines at the Dry Dock upstairs bar
    • Dinner
    • Coolship Red
    • Coolship Resurgam
    • Patina Pale
    • Lux
    • Swish
    • Oxbow BA Farmhouse Pale
    • Forge
    • Stay Puft

As an Oxbow fanatic I prodded for a little insight about their production schedule last time i visited. Basically, the more special releases like Momoko, Arborreal etc are released every other year. Momoko came out last year, so they're hoping to release some more next year.

Then there's beers like Supa Momo and Cavern(personal favorite) which they reserve for special occasions and don't typically release in bottles due to the limited supply. I stumbled upon an Oxbow tap takeover last year that happened to have Cavern(apparently one of their last left) and I think I drank half the keg. They also said they have another batch of Cavern in the works. But again, it might be such a limited amount we won't get bottles of it.

So I guess the short answer is IF it's getting bottled, it won't be for a while.

On vacation in Maine now. I've had a couple of glasses of epiphany and thought that it was excellent. Has it really changed? I've heard several it's not what it used to be comments but the list of beer that I would take over piph isn't long at all. I'll be buying whatever I can Wednesday.

Also manamana is one of the best apas that I've ever had. Would love to do a side by side with lights on.

Austin st rally is easily the best session that I've ever had.
