anyone know how the Patina Pale cans are doing at Austin Street, or how regularly they'll be available? got a co-worker from Portland coming down to Mass for a visit and he owes me some beers.

I've been told... Momoko b2 is bottled and waiting to be labeled. They're mulling over whether to release Native Wild soon or wait until Goods from the Woods. Had a preview back in December... it's up there with Resurgam for me, soooo tasty. I need more in my mouth.

No word on confirmed frequency.... but more Patina cans drop on 6/23. Rally cans soon? I'd love to see DDH Patina get into cans... hnnngh.

Indeed more Patina Pale cans this Friday. We're shooting for cans every Friday going forward. It will be just Patina for a bit then Rally will get worked in as soon as our new 30bbl fermentor is installed in (hopefully) less than a month. DDH Patina w/Nelson Sauvin goes on tap June 29th but will not be canned this time around.

Hi, Do (did) the cans sell out on Friday? Or do they hang around for a few days.

Last week was our first release and they sold out that day, but not until around 6pm. We expect that will be the case going forward, until the new fermentor is online.

Epiphany has changed so many times and it's been very inconsistent

Unfortunately it's no longer an IPA/DIPA I go out of my way to grab or even try a glass of. Foundation's really changed

My buddy and I talk about them often and we think that's the case. When we first got Epihpany, we both thought it was quite possibly the best Maine beer we had ever had. Then we both liked it less and less but we chalked it up to Bissell and others really putting out great stuff so it didn't seem as good.

Then we got some on draft and it was amazing...

Then we bought some fresh cans and it was pretty blah and I've yet to enjoy it as much as I did.

It's a shame, but they're too inconsistent. Just look at Cosmic Bloom. Everybody, myself included, loved Prototype #4 so I was pumped for CB. I tried It and it wasn't close to #4. It seems like they need to work on QC or something.

So they're the grey sail of ME? That blows.

Care to comment on the latest batch? I'm really impressed with it. First time that I ever tried it though, sadly.

Just tried this batch of cosmic bloom and wasn't impressed. Also surprised by the reviews.

I haven't had the latest batch so I can't say. And don't get me wrong it's always good beer, but it's just so hit or miss it seems. I used to gladly buy it by the case because it was so good, but it seemed to worsen. But it still occasionally shines. Maybe this is a great batch.

I agree CB was underwhelming and maybe that's because of how great #4 was.

Everything about epiphany has changed. Sometimes all at once. The last one I had was poor. Too bad. It was a favorite for a bit a while back.

I'm the Maine beer noob. Sorry for the drunken questions. How does baby genius compare to manamana or eureka?

I'm surprised about piph. It reminds me of SoS. Juicier and less floral. Probably a bit more dank.

Latest batches of Battery Steele Kineo and Flume rocked my world. Also, Jonah from Mast Landing and Liquid Rapture from Mason's. It's kind of ridiculously easy to grab amazing hoppy beers from ME now. Keep em coming.

I had the first batches of both and was pleasantly surprised, especially with Flume. Kineo was good as well but I liked Flume more. I also heard them say they were tweaking Kineo before the next batch. But if those guys are capable of putting out that kind of stuff already I can't wait to see what they come up with in the future.

    I'll play.

    1) Dinner - MBC
    1A) Swish - BBB

    Rest in no particular order:

    Momoko - Oxbow
    Catalyst - Oxbow
    Patina - Austin Street
3rd Anniversary DIPA - Austin Street
    Lux - BBB
    Sexy Chaos - Marshall Wharf
    White - Allagash
    Coolship Red - Allagash

Weird how one of the coldest states (Maine) crushes IPAs but does meh stouts and one of the warmest states (Florida Man) is known for stouts (I worded that carefully) and does crappy IPAs.

Surprised nothing gold isn't on your list, top two for me would definitely be Swish and NG. Dinner is beyond overrated IMO
