Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

So I just checked the site to see when India Spruce Pilsner would be out this year and I do not see it on there. Will there not be bottles this year? It is one of my all-time favorites. I do see it will be on tap at an event about 30 minutes from my house, so I will have to try to get out there if there will be no bottles this year.

Hmmm. I'll guess _________ dry-hopped Local's or Cerveza de Julie. Maybe a doppelbock? Please no cinnabilly...

 

I'd be happy with 4 diff single hopped Locals.

 

Man, people here have no love for Cinnabilly. It's been so long since I've had one (before I rated or took notes) but I don't remember it being that bad.

I wouldn't think Julie would be in the pack only because it's a seasonal keg release.

I would like a return of Guess the Dry Hop Local's. My wish list would also include Cocozacca, Starshot, or Purple Rain. Out of those three I've only had Starshot and it was excellent.

 

It should be available in Chicago all summer!

 

Thanks for noticing. Last August I took back over planning, forecasting and brew scheduling. Since then we reduced inventory at our distributor by 80% and have cut the specialty lag time from package to release to less than a week. The last few have been a day or two. You should also notice flagships being very fresh. In Michigan we should be getting them to stores within a week or two, other states are not far behind.

Last week we actually packaged Soft Parade and Huma early in the week and it was on store shelves by the weekend. This is not without its downside though as we have had a few minor out of stocks but thankfully only for a day at a time.

 

Any release info on SpaceDrop?

 

Officially released Friday and on store shelves next week.

All right, back from a night at the local pub and having an Exeter night cap and I've gotta say I miss Anni Ale. Not the sour stuff, the real one. And on that note, I find Exeter to be superior to Anni 13. And if you do a 50/50 Exeter /Rosie Palmer, call it a Out of This World Handy. Exhibit A why I don't work in marketing.

 

Enjoying the shit out of this Superfluid! Always one of my favs! To me, it has a very unique hop profile. Does anyone know what it is hopped with?

I got lucky and found a nice little supermarket that split up their variety packs into singles be in a "3 for $5" bin. Got a make-shift 9 be pack of my favorite IPA in the world. God I love this stuff.

 

I'll be up in Bellaire in 2 weeks for vacation. Can't wait to hit the pub and grab some of those togo bottles and try everything new on tap that I can
