Other Half Brewing June 2017

When is this supposed to open?

 

Having my last can of Ain't Nothing Nice. This batch is one of OH's best IPA's IMO. I could drink this all summer. 6 weeks old and it's still great- developed some grassier/more vegetal flavors.

 

Was the whole super chill Tuesday release thing just a dream? I was kinda hoping that was to be the new normal. Not complaining...totally makes sense that it would take a while to work out the kinks/scheduling associated with the new canning equipment and (soon to be) new retail space. Curios to see how things shake out.

 

Was thinking the same thing. Tuesday releases were awesome for so many reasons, not least of which they alleviated the crowd on Saturdays.

 

Interesting to see how breweries play with the dynamic of the hype-convenience spectrum. Like I said - I'm not complaining. As long as they continue to make killer brews I'll keep showing up.

 

Please let the DDH Double Mosaic Daydream be a double batch.

 

That's a pretty blockbuster lineup, but rather than line up at the brewery I'll be having breakfast this Saturday at Owl Farm. Hope to see some of you fellow tipplers there!

 

Do they serve breakfast or did you mean liquid breakfast?

Saturday is their 5th Anniversary Bash.

 

Haha- I love breakfast so will probably bring an Egg McMuffin along for myself and whomever is tending the bar.

*edit: However, I'm not sure how often it's updated. I assume DDH Broccoli and Suparillo would be on tap from this past weekend.

 

I'm looking for a little info on this weekend's release. I am visiting the city this weekend, and I was hoping to get some cans. It sounds like this will be a pretty big release and I was wondering if I show up a little after ten, if there is a good chance they will have anything left. I know every brewery does things differently, so I'd like to be prepared. Thanks.

 

Assuming none of these are a double batch, I'd say the pilsner and maybe the non ddh would be last to go, and could make it past 12pm(checkout time). Getting in at 10am is risky if you want to guarantee cans on a day like this though.

 

Having the same label for both versions of the collab is really grinding my gears for some reason.

Do the DDH versions of their beers have different labels usually? I always thought they didn't but I'm admittedly not very observant

 

@Kanger can you quell speculation? any double batches?

 

With all this beer coming out I need my paycheck in double batches.

 

It's usually like a glossy version of the regular label.
