Is this being distributed?

 

It's a Scratch, so bottles will be brewery only unless storekeepers drive there and some kegs may see distribution.

I can probably do this. I work in Oaks, and live in Reading, so making the trip up to Hershey wouldn't be too bad, and this sounds tasty.

 

Just had a chance to try this today at the bar around lunchtime. Really solid stuff, and one of the better "wet-hopped" beers I've had the chance to try. This wasn't a straight Zombie dust or Kern River Citra style clone. Definitely get a lot of those similar aromas in the smell, but I found the taste to have a nice mix of citrus with pine/resin rather than a straight citrus/grapefruit bomb. It's almost like you could pick up more of the oil from the fresh hops.

Anyway, another Scratch winner from Troegs. Tried their Scratch Octoberfest Lager too, and enjoyed it a lot for the style.

 

i hope some kegs make it over to philly. a bunch of scratch stuff has been popping up lately and i'd really like to try this one.

 

If I go, I can pick up as many cases as people who want them, just let me know.

Is this recipe different from last year's Fresh Hop Scratch beer?

 

Just had this today at the brewery. Plenty of cases, 6ers and singles on the shelf if anyone is looking to take the trip out there for some of it.

Whoa, did not realize it was 7.7%. I am stopping there one day this week over lunch, may have to limit myself to just a sample of that one while there - lol
