The bottle of DDH 'Sue I picked up at F44 is dated 5/11.

I am glad to report back after opening my bottle, it is good. Reminds me a lot of Central Waters BBW. A little stronger with the bourbon and vanilla, but overall I think it tastes great despite the homer bias in me. Not too hot and the hops are toned down. The barrel tastes just like one from the Kentucky legends. I would buy another bottle FWIW.

There was a single bottle of 2015 Abyss on the shelf at Whole Foods downtown this afternoon.

Abyss Variants at Tonka Bottle Shop. I think they're on "sale" too. Still spendy, but if anyone's looking, there you go

Is Junkyard PB Bandit currently on any shelves of twin cities liquor stores?

Thomas Liquors had it Friday night, but they kept it in the back. I do not know if it lasted through the weekend.

Yeah, I was wondering how South Carolina's Westbrook Mexican Cake made it to MN...Good catch!

Although my son, living in Charleston, picked up a Cake & a Coffee Cake for me, so I have that to look forward to:slight_smile:

DDH Sue and X-hops Teal at TW Maple Grove - be careful not to take it from the opened box behind the counter though. Got harassed for "taking their beer" without permission despite no one being around to ask for a solid 10 minutes, and bottles already missing from the case.

I actually felt like I'd done something wrong!

is that Schell's Banana whatever in the NW metro area anywhere? I have not seen it in Princetons, Premier or G-Wills MG. Although I last looked late last week at these locations.

I don't know. Walking behind the counter of any store is a no no to me. If it is on the general floor space, everything is fair game.

Stopped by Stinson today - they have Drekker cans in the cooler. Apparently this is their first week of distro here. Stinson had coconut IPA and several other things. Someone buy some and fill me in on how they are, please!

I spent all of my moneys on Stone Drink By!

Had both their coconut and wheeze juice they both are decent. Wheeze is way overpriced rather drink a fulton hopstar for half the price. I thought those new enjoy by cans were horrible.

Good to know! If it's coconut, I'll drink it. Or eat it. I'd forgotten, but apparently Drekker was at the Minnesota Craft Beer fest this year and I had a couple of their beers (Wheez and Pushing Daisies). Zero recollection, so I guess they didn't make an impression? I'd like to swing by there this summer - possibly before/after Rare Beer Picnic, if I go. Anyone heard if any of the breweries are bringing something amazing?

I really liked the Enjoy by 7/4 cans - had two last night, failed to notice they were 9ish percent before I began... whoops.

Alternatively, if no one is at the service desk you can just go up to 1 of the cashiers and tell them you want a bottle of "X" and it is behind the service counter. They will go grab one for you.
