let me check with my old lady and make sure we dont have anything goin on this sunday.... whats the caliber of stuff yall bring? ive got some RRBC sours, i just got a FfaC yesterday, and some other riffraff ive got sitting in the fridge.

 

Psh, we cleanse our pallet with FfaC. And by that, I mean, please bring the FfaC.

 

Hopefully this weekend is not too hectic! I'd like to crack a Pliny with you guys!

 

I should be able to make it. Yay, that is three in a row. I don't think I will be making the style tasting later this month (stupid BP), so I am bringing some smoke for show along with some other goodies of coarse.

 

For someone who has never been to one.. how do these work? Do you just show up with a small cooler of what you are bringing to share? Bring your own tasting glass? Just wondering... I can't make this one.. but I hope to in the near future... sounds awesome.

 

Yes. Pretty simple. A bunch of guys (every once in a while gals) in the corner with coolers, making lots of noise.

 

Does Gingerman have NFL games on?

 

Two shitty TVs that will play the Texans if on, otherwise will play what ever game is on the network stations.

 

I'll be bringing some Bourbon County Stout Brownies. Get pumped.

 

Anyone interested in riding down from my end of town? Looks like I am doing this one solo, wouldn't mind a car mate.

 

Sadly, I'll be missing this tasting. Happily, it will be for my Saucer plate party. (First one, finally!) I should be at the style tasting this month, though - looking forward to that one.

Sounds like a fun time. I might stop by before work @ 3. I have a bottle of La Fin du Monde and Rochefort Trappistes 10 that I may just cut loose... I'm not going to do anything with them.
