Bomber is $7.99. So you save a $1 and gain 4oz. Fred still keeping his 401k pay.

This is one of their cheaper beers though. A 4 pack of BORIS is gonna be a lot more, if it even happens.

Haven't seen that one, but Amarillo Fog and the last one(can not remember the name) were good. Platform is easily #2 in Cleveland for me.

Saphir is a cool hop, think if Saaz and Citra had a baby and that baby was really chill.

Not sure what that was... But I thought 'Elevated Hop Ramble' was really a solid no frills IPA.

Platform is becoming a favorite of mine. Diverse lineup of good beer and I'm a big fan of their can labeling. I also feel like their IPAs keep improving as time goes on.

After reading the article it's interesting that Fred thinks a 7% Shandy makes sense in a smaller format, but obviously his Triple IPAs/Double IPAs & DORIS, TORIS, etc with crazy high alcohol don't.

Uh oh guys better not make fun of Hoppin Frog or someone will get their panties in a bunch. *rolls eyes*

It's hilarious how someone can start off with a completely constructive, value added post, then can't resist but blow it up with some bullshit.

edit: Fog was solid, but platform is really hit or miss for me. some good gose, but besides speed merchant, the IPA's are mediocre. I had Elevated Hop Ramble, it was ok, but certainly not the NE IPA they claimed it to be.

Are you going to the release at Bottlehouse today? Can't wait to try these sours although it sucks cherry won't be bottled.

Yep! I think we're gonna end up at Lakewood. Agreed on the cherry one. I typically HATE cherry adjuncts, because it's usually an artificial, cherry syrup type flavor BUT the everything I've have from Bottlehouse with cherry in it has been fantastic, including the Vox Altum. So damn good.

Yep! Loved the funk of Eventyr. Went back and grabbed another bottle that currently sitting in the cellar (closet*) at home. Only one I unfortunately missed on was Vox Maris, which I'm sure was great.

NE IPA is a ridiculous term and most of them are severly overrated/overhyped anyway.

As far as Platform goes, I hear the hit or miss thing a lot, and I guess it's true for me as well. But I like their ambition ant their sours have been solid. The two Fogs, Hop Ramble and Speed Merchant were good, but most of their other IPAs are average or below. Still my second favorite in Cleveland.

ridiculous maybe but it's officially a style lol. They claimed it on the can, if they had not done that I might have rated it higher....compared to true NE IPA it didn't hold true to style. I was actually going thru my untappd and my ratings were higher on more beers than I remember. They do some good weiss beers too.

If you like some brett funk, I highly recommend getting a bottle of it. Their Brett IPA was actually one of the only ones I've ever enjoyed as well.
