Two words: Hunstman Kolsch. One of my favorite beers in all of NJ.

Just saw this in my local store for $10 / 6pack and came here to see if it's any good. Anyone else try this and like it also?

I've only had it on draft and I've never had any of their offerings in cans. I've yet to see it in the store but I'd crush it at that price. It's a flavorful beer.

Their kolsch is alright, but I am also not a huge fan of that style.

However their new pale ale 6 pack is very enjoyable, was there Friday for some flights and was able to get 6/16 canned dates.

They're definitely a enjoyable visit along with Jersey girl and man skirt with a stop off at Marley's for wings.

They're starting to expand their horizons distro wise. Just saw Ship Wright, Falconer and Kolsch at my local in Chatham.

Anyone tried the Deep Sea Series New England Style IPA with Mosaic and Citra hops?

I've been curious about this. They're a pretty good brewery with a lot of styles in a nice setting. I know their DIPA single hop series are just IBU bitter bombs, so I am interested in how they're doing the NE style. It looks like that image may have a filter or bad lighting? As the beer looks a bit darker, on the west coast spectrum.

Side note, some of their fruity nitro beers are quite delicious. They had a strawberry cream and an orange cream this year that were pretty fire

Had the NE mosaic and citra yesterday. That pic is pretty close to how mine looked out of the can, slightly muddier than most in the style. The bitterness was also higher than I’m used to for a NE but besides that it was very good. Plenty of fruitiness and a creamy mouthfeel.

I took the pic. No filter. This is pretty damn close to how it actually looks. Perhaps it is slightly closer to an orange juice color than this picture indicates, but for all intents and purposes this is how it looks.

I thought they did a pretty good job with it, especially considering how many breweries put out mediocre NE IPA's. Definitely has bitterness. Gentle nose of tropical fruit and grass. Similar flavors while I got a lot of presence from the malt and yeast as well which I thought made for a pretty complete offering.

    Overall pretty nicely done.
