Muswell Hillbillies! A great album from that unappreciated middle period of The Kinks' career. Well played!

My pleasure. Last time I was at Barney's they did not have M-43, so it goes fast. I left some for you. :sunglasses:
The day was short and sweet. I had to do this thing called "work" until 2 pm, so we didn't make it down there until 3:30. My wife likes playing the slots, so we stopped at Four Winds. I smoked a 2013 CLE Cuarenta cigar (muy bueno) there and got to make a stop at Barney's, We were back home at 7 pm.

Apparently I dig this more than many of you. Light citrus and a very restrained use of coriander. Crisp, cool, and very refreshing!

Had a couple of Tavour beers tonight... started out with Wicked Dark

And have now moved on to Old Guard. Surprised that a bière de garde tastes so much like many standard American beers.

I liked Wicked Dark more but am still going to finish this one. Got the turtle sitting next to my computer right now, going to put him back in the collection later. He wanted to watch HLN. It's HIS fault that "Beyond Reasonable Doubt" is on, nothing to do with my blood alcohol level.

Fantastic session IPA, glad they brought it back this year. Flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with some light honey/bready malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium bodied crisp and sticky/resinous mouthfeel; with some light creamy/grainy malt balance. Very drying but never astringent. Very flavorful for 3.5%, with a solid malt balance for the ABV. Very dank/juicy hops. Glad I grabbed a 6'er, might get more after I finish this up. Still holding up great after 3-4 months. Originally one of my favorite session IPAs when I first had it, still just as impressive now years later.

World class American stout. Flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toasted dark bread, and smoke/charred malt; with moderate herbal, piney, spicy hops; and some lighter raisin, plum, licorice yeast fruitiness. Moderate pine and roast/charred bitter finish. Creamy, silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced medium-full body mouthfeel. Light increasing bitter/char dryness. One of my top classic favorites in the style, along with Kalamazoo stout; which I haven't gotten in a while. I should grab some soon.

Insane IPA! Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, guava, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate bready/light honey malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced sticky/resinous hops and bready/grainy malts in the mouthfeel. Moderately crisp, increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Amazingly drinkable and refreshing for an IPA. Very vibrant, juicy, dank hop flavors. Just as amazing as the regular Born Yesterday for me. This has similar clarity to the 2015 batch; so it's got nice crispness. Last fall was more hazy/juicy. I love them both ways. Already bought a full pack, but will definitely get more if I see it. Last year's fall batch was still amazing well into the 4 month mark. Wish they made this year round.

Awesome scotch ale. Have been buying this a lot since I revisited it a couple months ago. I prefer Scotty Karate for the non-barreled style, but this is year round. Flavors of big caramel, raisin, plum, prune, fig, date, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with lighter notes of peat smoke, chocolate, leather, tobacco, and herbal/peppery hops. Light-moderate herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied creamy/bready mouthfeel; light sticky hops and chalky roast, with increasing bitter dryness. Very smooth, mildly warming ABV. Just a little too bitter and increasingly drying for the style; but the rich malt and fruity yeast complexity is completely spot on.
