It's Saturday morning and it's raining. It's been raining all week. It's gonna rain all day. Oh I'm in a great mood but have decided I've spent enough time out in the rain this week. So cancelling my shopping plans for today. I'm not going anywhere . . .

    look: 3.25 | aroma: 3.5 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Very light clear gold color with white cap.

Aroma of piney, citrusy hops with a smattering of malt underneath.

Taste is simple, straight forward and refreshing. I could do with a little less pine and think the brew would be better balanced with jucier hops. What's there is a preponderance of grapefruit zest which combined with pine dominate the flavor profile resulting in a heavier sort of bitterness than I want in what is otherwise a relatively light brew. I find grain present primarily in the body with lingering heavy, but not harsh, bitterness in the aftertaste.

Light to medium texture with balancing carbonation.

All day IPA with a hop kick. I would prefer more substance in the grain bill but it is what it is so I'll appreciate it as I find it without complaint. It is competently brewed and relatively flawless.

    It's technically only one, right?!

Cisco Sankaty Light Lager. 3.8% ABV

Drinks like a semi hoppy blonde. Hops seem Noble. Dry. Grassy. hay. Really nice actually. I'd destroy these all summer if they were available, but got these in a variety pack.

    Cheers.

The Red Hare is drinking nicely so I'm having another.

Not really a Bloody Mary fan but the concept of ghost pepper steak jerky intrigues me.

    :grinning: She deserves it!

You may want to stop at TW in Ballston they had three cases of Founders Doom when I went about closing time on Thursday. Not a bad beer, and it packs a punch.

    Good morning, BAs!

Had a solid workout this morning and heading to my Nephews' birthday party in about an hour. Starting with this.

I've tried a lot more session IPAs this year than in years past. A lot of breweries seem to be dialing in their recipes. This is a great display of Cascade, while also maintaining a fuller flavor than sessions I've had in the past.

    Happy Saturday, BAs!

    Good morning everyone!

I am hoping you are all having a great day so far. It's a beautiful day out there.

I'm spending my morning with Vieille Provision Saison Dupont (a belgian farmhouse ale)

This beer was bottled on 07/2016. 6.5% ABV. This brew pours light golden brown. Huge pale head on top. Muffin top style. Nose is of apricot and the all too familiar belgian yeast. The description on the bottle is right on the mark, "a big fruity bouquet, taste starts fruity but ends dry and very clean with a light refreshing body". This is a solid brew guys and gals. Don't mind me I am going to finish the rest of this bottle now, a BIG dare I say LARGE cheers to you all.

A beer that serves it's purpose after defending my age group title at the Bears/PNC 5k run. A well organized event and a perfect day for it. Happy weekend gang!

It's about to get real, @Shroud0fdoom. Olde English 800, double dry-hopped with Nelson.
