New beer releases?

If true, that's a bummer. It's been awesome getting Abyss these last couple of years. Oh well, at least I can crack one from the cellar, I suppose.

 

in the mountain forum the cellar master from Avery said it probably would not be distributed as they could not secure enough rum barrels and only made about half what they did last year

abyss has been a late december/early january thing here the past two years. hopefully whoever you spoke to didnt know what they were talking about.

 

We need Lindsey to chime in, although I heard he moved from Specs to bigger and better things.

 

I really hope this isn't true. I have been told by someone at Specs that Abyss is not made yearly and it rotates each year with Stoic. We know this isn't true so hopefully they just have no clue what they are talking about again.

 

That's actually more likely than any other explanation....

 

He was still at Specs as of Monday or at least at the midtown location.

 

I asked for him earlier today and they said he moved on to Duff.

 

Curious as to when he went to Duff. Told me he was at Specs Monday around noon.

 

Hopefully, we're lucky and the next guy keeps the Joey/Lindsey quality trend going.

I just picked up a 4 pack of 2012-2013 Brookyln Black Chocolate Stout at Central Market in Fort Worth.

 

I picked a 4 pack of this up at the HEB in Friendswood.. they still had quite a few left today when I was looking for Krunkin Pumpkin.... (today I picked up a XXIV Butte bomber...)

 

Found the new Imperial Stout (Narwhal) and Estate ale both in Berkeley at Berkeley bowl today

 

that's not true I've seen a 06 thu 11 vertical
